I finally caught up with Kurt Cobain : Montage of Heck last night & found it a powerful but great documentary. Has anyone else seen it ?

Anyone in here into 'Hogjaw' a southern rock band, got into them last cpl of years, they have a new album out on the 19th. They are also doing a European tour but not including uk, i asked the band did they ever play uk and they said 'that door has just never opened for us'

I am going to my first metal gig in years on Saturday at a local bar, the line up is :

ANTILLECTUAL, Braindead, Holiday, Almeida. It is a free gig, but am really looking forward to it.

Just enjoyed Muse on BBC3, and the Foo Fighters are on tomorrow night, very happy with this.

Would have died and gone to Heaven if it had been Rammstein, but who knows if they are ever going to tour again.

There is a whole lot of Led Zeppelin in this one. It's probably what they'd sound like if they were starting out now.

Foos got a bit of a slagging in the metro showbiz bit, said they were divas for getting taylor swift shifted to a diff dressing room and then not letting nick grimshaw into vip area, but both those get a thumbs up from me

They have said they are taking time off but intend to tour again but as you say, that is by no means certain.

Got to say I'm quite disappointed with their new album, I found it utterly boring. Even Chameleon had more memorable songs than this.

Saw them at Rock City in Nottingham a few weeks ago. Good not great. First time ive been to a gig where the singer gets heckled. Mogg was slightly bladdered though but although he kept forgetting what he was talking about,never once forgot his lyrics.

Good thread. Im looking forward to downlaload. Some old faves have seen before and some new bands. The heavy rock in albu charts now seems to be going back to classic old school sound with guitar solos what with bands like the answer, thunder, the darkness etc. Nu metal like limp bizkit seems to have become old hat

If they do tour the UK it will likely be a few gigs in England and a token gig in Scotland, probably Glasgow.
