The problem for me is that so many of these bands all sound the same. Just cloning Nightwish and Within Temptation.
After all Within Temptation, even though I love them, are hardly a Symphonic Metal band any more. |

But for example Leah isn't like Nightwish who also sound different to Delain, and Lacuna Coil can't really be described as Symphonic - more Gothic/Nu Metal with a hint of Power Metal. |

They do sound similar but yet all are different in their own way - though I haven't heard all of these,

My copy of Nightwish's Vehicle of Spirit blu ray has arrived. If you're thinking of buying this for the Wembley gig, my advice is don't bother. The picture quality is shockingly poor and totally spoils what was otherwise a great show. I'd say the camera work is amateurish, but that would be an insult to amateur film-makers.
The Tampere show is ok, picture-wise (thought still not brilliant). I'm sending mine back for a refund. |

Can anyone kindly recommend a decent radio station for metal and classic rock following the demise of Team Rock Radio?

How rotten for all the staff losing their jobs right before Christmas. |
