Through The Fire And Flames ?

I suppose they must do. It's a bit 'pop' for me. Ok in small doses. Apparently my boys Sabaton kept blowing them off the stage when they supported them here back in 2009

I'm not hugely familiar with their stuff but I do like what I've heard
That's hilarious

I wish they'd hurry up & release day tickets.

I have listened to some of the links.

Can't abide that Sabaton, sorry. Found it tedious and cheesy in a not-fun way.

Liked the Tomahawk - (I liked their first two like some other people said)

Did not like the Mr Bungle - The Bends, I do have one of their albums - but that song made me feel sick and it just dragged on forever.

No need to say "sorry". Metal/Hard Rock is a pretty broad church & we all have our own dislikes & favourites, yet we all seem to rub along just fine

However, should anyone rock up & start being all 'more brootalz than thou', I just may be forced to bring out the Shotgun

sorry

At the moment, My Ruin, back to Pearl Jam and Nirvana, System of a Down, Fear Factory, Slipknot, thinking of digging out my Deftones again, only recently re-discovered My Ruin so I'm not against listening to new things

I must admit, I've never heard of My Ruin. Got any links?

I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to try out too

There's some further back, she's a screamer rather than a singer so may not be your cup of tea

She used to be a rapper on Ice T's record label.

I liked Manhole/Tura Satana but couldn't get into My Ruin. It seemed like she was the lead singer for whoever she was f**king at the time. I think she married the My Ruin guy.

How about some female-fronted Melodeath?

Arch Enemy - Nemesis

Also, not a screamer as such but i think this lass has a terrific voice

Kobra And The Lotus - 50 Shades Of Evil

I'm not surprised. There are far too many f*cking sub genres!

As a general rule of thumb though, I tend to find that if I don't like something then it usually turns out to be Thrash or [whatever]Core. Oh and I roll my eyes massively at bands who do songs about disembowling corpses & shagging the entrails
