The band is called Overoth, they won the all Ireland W.O.A competition to appear at bloodstock
http://www.overoth.com/

Is this them? We might as well publicise them a bit, yes?

No sign of them on the lineup yet. Which day are they on?

I just noticed Turisas hidden away on the Pepsi Max stage on friday. Damn!

I'm starting to worry about Bloodstock now. They've just released extra VIP tickets "Due to demand" with no sign of any 'days'.
Last year day tickets went on sale 1st July, so don't panic just yet!

I'm listening to the first track on their website atm. Death's not one of my favourite sub genres, I have to admit. I only like one or two bands. Having said that, I am enjoying Kingdom Of Shadows

Which band? Can't you be a 'roadie' or something? I'd assumed bands could get f&f in. Is that not the case?
Yes, i could get in no problems but work commitments might not allow plus I am close on being a coffin dodger.

Amon Amarth are playing
http://metalmouth.net/2013/01/amon-a...download-2013/

Tbh, I'd only be interested in watching Amon Amarth, Maiden & Rammstein, so the expense & hassle really wouldn't be worth it. (says the woman who's going to Bloodstock to see ONE fookin' band )
I've never been to Download, the last time i went to Castle Connington was for the 1988 Monster's Of Rock. I'm only doing Saturday this year because it's the 25th Anniversary of that and Maiden are doing the Maiden England set. Fortunately there is also Katatonia, Alice In Chains and Queen's Of The Stone Age there as well and they don't clash so it is worth the cost of going.

If I were to go on Sunday it would only be for Stone Sour and Rammstein, both of whom I saw on their last tours anyway so I'm not paying £82 just to see those two bands.

It is rumoured Rammstein will be touring the UK next year with the same show as Download anyway.

Does Download usually do a live feed? Actually, I know this is a long shot but I don't suppose anyone knows where to find live feed from any European festival?

Bloodstock have confirmed on their Facebook page that Day tickets will be released on 1st July, so I can relax now

Oh f*cking hell! Yet another one of my favourite bands not coming anywhere near Newcastle.

Turisas

08.10.2013 UK - Bristol, The Fleece
09.10.2013 UK - London, 02 Academy Islington
10.10.2013 UK - Nottingham, Rock City
11.10.2013 UK - Glasgow, Cathouse
12.10.2013 UK - Manchester, Club Academy

Seriously, this is getting beyond a sodding joke

Certain setlists from Wacken are normally shown on ZDF.Kultur

That's not what I asked for.

Been looking for something from Nova Rock all day. It's one of the biggest European festivals. Sabaton are on NOW, Rammstein later.

I have said to my missus, if some channel did a ppv thing of download festival and you could do the red button thing to choose different stages and bands, I would willingly pay about £20-£25 for that, not sure if many others would

Rammstein - Ich tu dir weh live @ Nova Rock 2013

Rammstein - Du hast (live @ Novarock 2013)

Rammstein - Mein Teil live @ Nova Rock 2013

Rammstein - Du Riechst So Gut - live @ nova rock 13

Hmm......I do love Rammstein but I'd still prefer to be blown away by the music & performance, rather than bludgeoned into submission by the stage show. :/

Aah, this is better

Rammstein - Mein Herz brennt live at Nova Rock

seem to be a lot of 'Shouty' bands in that list, Stone Sour stick out like a sore thumb

Doro & Gojira aren't 'shouty'. I'd say Gojira re actually a bit dull & pretentious tbh.
