I just find it a bit frustrating. Especially considering if I'd have worn one of those t-shirts at school, I'd get abuse for it.
It is a bit...but times have moved on. Just enjoy the music

I've seen people at work with Ramones/Guns N Roses/Rolling Stones t-shirts that they've obviously bought from Primark. I'm sure they would be able to name one song at the very most. Frustrating. Nirvana have just joined this list of band t-shirts being sold in Primark/H&M...etc.
Nirvana were shite anyway

Yeah, my daughter wanted a GnR one. I asked her to name two songs. She couldn't, so refused to buy her one.
You'd have laughed if she'd replied "Back Off Bitch" and "Nice Boys".

If she'd done that, I'd probably have bought her two As it is, she couldn't even come up with Paradise City

Heh, I remember my young niece many years ago wearing a Slipknot T-shirt - she probably was barely in her teens. I asked my sister if she had actually heard any of their stuff but she said it was just a fashion thing.

My father in law bought me a guns teeshirt, the one with the logo on. I liked GnR circa appetite when I was at school, still think its great now, but when I wear the teeshirt, I bet half the people looking at me assume I'm one of those halfwits who wear it because it's fashion, not because I like their music

I used to like them a lot around the time 'Colors' was released, when I was a big fan of proggy, technical stuff. I haven't heard anything they've done since, but I still enjoy listening to 'Colors' and 'Alaska' from time to time.

Is it Between the Buried and Me that have members of Glass Casket? Both are good bands.

Our house was rocking at 2am the other night to Dry Kill Logic - Rot. So bad, but so good.

I found this the other day - a real blast my past from over 40 years ago. It is the Groundhogs playing "Cherry Red" live. I particularly like their introduction. The announcer simply says "Ladies and Gentlemen..the Groundhogs". A seconds pause and they get right into it:

Play it nice and loud of course!

And if she'd said "techincally, Nice Boys isn't a GNR song, as it's actually a Rose Tattoo cover", you could've bought her three!

Why would you get bad comments? You're a Metallica fan, so of course you want to see it

Now you have to promise to be nice to me for ordering this
