I didn't take your reply in that way.

I was just saying that people look at songs like 'Snooker Loopy' and don't necessarily realise what talented musicians they are.

They'll be great for the Sunday afternoon slot, though.

Snooker Loopy is not one of their best....try this one...

Motorhead forced to cancel European February tour again due to Lemmy still not well enough to tour - all I can say is get well soon to the great man, been one of my favourite bands now for 30 odd years in all it's incarnations.

Oh you're JOKING!

Looks like I'm going to have to get a refund after all. It's just not going to happen, is it?

Sad news.

Motorhead were the first "proper" band I saw, Colston Hall in Bristol December '79 supported by Saxon!

He certainly "enjoyed" life and unfortunately it is bound to catch up in the end.

I'm not sure the pianist was such a good idea.

Hurrah, one whole band, over the entire festival, that I'd actually want to see. Needless to say, I won't be going.

Was he even accompanying the song, or just playing one of his own?

I doubt even he knows. It's a shame, because I thought Metallica themselves sounded pretty good.

I liked the San Francisco orchestra arrangements on S & M, but he just spoilt it. I have had to put my copy of LuLu on to cleanse my ears

I saw Phil Campbell at the UEA Waterfront 22/12/2013 met him afterwards asked him about Lemmy he said he is okay,i still have no reason to believe he will not be back i am hanging on to my ticket for dear life.

Lemmy is a hard nut i wish him all the best and do not come back until you are ready mate.

Two words Keith Richards partied hard and still performing live.

I was going to hang onto my ticket too but I got a phone call from Ticketmaster today, to say that the tour is CANCELLED (rather than postponed I guess) & they're refunding the ticket money.

Apparently Motley Crue will be splitting for good next year.

Please try to contain your grief.

No but he will be, if I get my hands on him

"....the cassette allowed you to liberate the best bits from all the different albums and jumble them up in a way that (you hoped) impressed girls."

Because all rock fans are guys, eh? You completely dismiss half the f*cking population & then moan that your genre's dying. How about joining those dots?
