My old band supported them in Leeds and they were excellent. Agreed about their recordings, everything is very clear and precise. Not a fan of that. I like it a bit more raw sounding.

Thankfully a complete departure from their most recent albums. Much heavier and more like their first two albums, although it's definitely not nu-metal. Sounds more like Avenged Sevenfold to me.

sounds like something a bit harder than what was heard on the last few A7X albums to be honest then again I'm a fan of the first two albums, never really bothered with the rest of their stuff. Might be interested in LP if they go back to the sound of the first few albums though

Don't know about popular but, my God, they are shite.

I don't know about now but at one time I'd say they were one of the most popular 'alternative' bands.
Everyone seemed to like them, though those sort of bands where the sense of humour is so OTT are not really my cup of tea. I prefer the odd song being funny not three-quarters of a band's output.
