As you all know I like metallica, bit surprised they are playing there tbh, but will be worth it to see the look on that smug cow Jo Whileys face when she has to introduce what will probably be about 3 minutes of coverage on BBC 3
They're headlining. Won't they be showing the whole set?

Sure Whiley will say they have technical issues then go back to some 'right-on' band playing sitars and xylophone

Discussion about Metallica at Glastonbury on the Bloodstock forum. It's interesting to read the views of full-on Metalheads

Here you go Guys, have a bit of Ravenscry. Discovered them a couple years ago. Hard to find decent new bands there days amongst all the screamo/metalcore stuff.

Oh and I would love to see them do a completely diff setlist, with songs they hardly ever play
I saw them at their 'secret gig' at The Marquee, when they supported Metal Church.

That's the first time I'd heard them play No Remorse.
I'm not sure if I've heard them play it since.

As Hetfield once said at an Earls Court gig

" 3 words. Seek. And. Destroy."

I need to order mine this week. I'll be very surprised if it isn't top 10, top 5 is very likely.

Hard rock/heavy metal definitely seems to be making a comaback at the moment!!
It's gone in at number 5.

For some reason, Bat Out Of Hell is at number 12, after going up 135 places!

Anyone else looking forward to the imminent releases of Judas Priest's and Alestorm's new albums?

Also, anyone going to see Doro on Monday at the O2? I'm gutted I can't

Pretty much

Not Alestorm though. They're extremely serious about everything.

She'll probably tell us that she's "always been a fan", do some comedy headbanging on air, then tell us that her favourite album is "Ride The Puppets".

Just heard on Planet Rock that it's rumoured Guns 'N Roses are to split up.

I thought they split up in the early 90's.

Since then, to me, they've been nothing but Axl Rose plus hired hands.
