Forgot to say, it's multi-choice so you can vote for as many as you like if you're torn between more than one. Just a bit of fun.

I voted Holding Out For A Hero, It's A Heartache and Married Men as 'favourites'; I like quite a few of the others, but I think that sums up my preferences in terms of the diversity of musical styles the list spans. Hero is great power-pop, Heartache is a good 'semi-tough' (ie not slushy) ballad, and Married Men is the only all-out disco Bonnie entry I'm aware of. It's a shame Married Men isn't better known - as I recall it only just scraped the top 40 and has been blighted by the stigma of being the theme tune to the eponymous late 70s Stud/Bitch-esque cinematic British sleaze entry derived from yet another of Collins' bloated bonkbusters.
I do like the Steinman stuff but it's more 'guilty pleasure' in a 'let's listen to something epically overwrought whilst drunk' way. I do have to chuckle when I revisit If You Were A Woman And I Was A Man at how blatantly and unashamedly it is just Bon Jovi's You Give Love A Bad Name with different lyrics

As much as I love Holding Out and Total Eclipse I'd say Loving You's a Dirty Job but Somebody's Gotta Do It is my most favouritist

My favourite is an unknown one, Notes From America, the title of her 1988 album in the US (Hide Your Heart in the UK), it flopped as a single, but I think it really rocks. Great vocal and lyrics!

Poll needs fixing, the song is Faster Than The Speed Of Night, not Light.

None. She always sings like she needs to clear her throat of phlegm.

This is a nice one, 'Mom' from her album 'Rocks and Honey'. Garth Brooks the country singer is currently having success with it:
