Just like the housemates in BB, you've got participants who don't know what to expect with the programme but as it continues and gets another series and then another the participants become more and more aware of how they are coming across and start to try harder and harder to be funny or whatever and be the centre of attention. By playing by the formula they know will work.

As their family name is Michaels I'd go with Greek origin.
