That's true. The mum was the mouthy one to start so you can see where the son gets his outbursts from.

What's the name of the larger man and woman and their son? I'm not a big fan of them from what I've seen, are the sisters (think there was three/four of them) still in it?

George (Son), Pete, don't know the Wife/Mum's name, from Clacton.
I quite like them, Pete doesn't say a lot, George seems to play up to entertain his parents, the way he looks at them.
Look it up on the Ch4 site or someone post the link, to who all the punters are.
The Allen Sisters have popped up at least once, so far.

I love the show and it really was a great one on wednesday, Leon is my fav but wish he maybe held back a little, he can be harsh at times.

the only ones I'm not keen is the one with the goatee who swears every sentence and the posh lady who looks down her nose at everyone.

Does anyone know the secrets of how it is filmed ? I was thinking that if they watch them live, that means they need at least 6 camera operators all over the country at the same time, which is possible I guess. Unless they are remote like it says in the credits, and can be done in the studio, however who mics them up ? Or are they taught to do it themselves ? Also is it a case of "cut, please re-say that line" or "just filming for the entire show and anything goes" ?

I assume they have cameras in the houses and they turn on when they are about to watch tv.

Did anyone notice that Sandra had a new pot noodle cup this week?

The trouble is that they are not fixed cameras are they. You get pictures of them watching the TV and suddenly it immediately cuts to a close up or new angle as if there were a couple of professional cameramen actually in their homes with them. Unless they have multiple fixed cameras filming the same thing and intercut long and close up shots at the edit?

Who thinks Leon must have been a really likeable and popular teacher? He has that glint.

Loved reading that article especiially the comments from ex-pupils who all seem to have fond memories of them. Wish I'd been at that school now.

She doesn't look down her nose at everyone at all. What a horrible judgement to make of someone just because she's well spoken and clearly has a fair bit of money.

To me she comes across as witty, knowledgeable, compassionate and a right good laugh.

Leon getting all emotional a few weeks back at Mushy from Educating Yorkshire 'I'd go back and teach them again tomorrow', June didn't say a word though

I'd second that in general terms, she's not my type of person, I've got reverse snobbery problems, but I can't see any of this 'looking down' thing.

I agree but she is not averse to swearing e.g using the 'f' word.
This doesn't bother me at all but it's funny people (not you) seem to ignore that, but lambast Louis for using the same words.

There's no-one I don't like on the programme. They are all different and funny in their own way. I like how daft Carolyne Michael is, and how shouty the Tapper women are

My faves are still the Siddiquis, Stephen and Chris, Dom and Steph, Leon and June.

Also really like Audrey and Brenda. I miss Michael and Steve from Liverpool though. Not enough of them this series.

Have to agree, they both seem like lovely people. They might have money but they seem very down to earth.
They lie in the next town over from me and my friend got married in there hotel garden, they are exactly the same as they are on the telly.

She called the drunks 'the great unwashed' but may have had a point.
It was hilarious when they were watching the love scene and saying "who's your Daddy" and her husband said "Am I the Daddy?" She replied "you've got 2 children, of course you're the Daddy. Who the f*** do you think is the Daddy".
