Not sure how bothered other people are, but I don't like that HTC handsets will no longer feature Beats Audio, one of the main reasons I bought the 'One' was for the Audio experience. I notice a big difference when Beats is turned off.

I don't listen to music through my phone speakers...

If I listen to music, I connect it to the aux socket on something with decent speakers.

Not sure if beats would affect that?

There are other apps which do the same thing available in the Play Store.

Did they announce their handsets will no longer feature Beats or did they just sell their share in Beats?

If you have a HTC One then you MUST get this app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...+5+stock+alert

Just got my HTC One, and I'm very impressed so far, Although I'm a bit of a HTC fanboy

Desire
Desire HD
Sensation XL
One X
and now the One.

The only thing that slightly bugs me is the volume control button is very flat, and so I never know whether I'm pressing up or down, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

And I don't really like that the 'Blinkfeed' has to be the homescreen, but I think this is due to change in an update

The Android 4.3 update is due to come out very soon, by the end of this month in the UK and HTC has just announced that we will be getting 4.4 as of January!

Even before the update you can change another screen to be the default home under personalisation.

You can disable blinkfeed all together by holding a finger down on your home screen as if to add a a widget, and select 'disable blinkfeed' top left hand corner. This only works with 4.3.

Received my 4:3 update on Sunday. Not really keen on the new Emoji text emoticons though, I preferred the ones before (and the update has also knocked the emoticons off for prevous messages).

I love it. I'm using my HTC one to type this message. It's heavy compared to new iPhone 5s or galaxy 4 but that's coz of the aluminium body which helps greatly with heat dissipation and also makes it look premium. I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend.

O2, I took the phone down to my local shop in Berwick yesterday and they said that it was an Android problem. Not entirely convinced that's the case though...

HTC have confirmed that they have sold through 750,000 units in the UK.

Good news for them.

Just received an OTA update on my three branded HTC One. I did do a scan for updates manually though and the notification popped up. But it only said it was system enhancements without much detail.

Wasn't sure what it was for, but then just looked it up and it's for the 4G switch on. I live in London so will be one of the first cities.

To all those on 4.3, how is your battery? "Android Systems" seems to be eating my battery!

9hr 37 off charge and Android System has used 73% of my battery, and I have an overall 46% left. It used to be so much better - I could get almost 2 days out of the phone!
