I would have them having to nominate to each others faces, and warned for not giving good reasons,

The double eviction was a terrible idea.It got rid of Jon Tickle from BB4, thus killing the programme, very poor!

New housemates has been shown to not work for the new hm, but does change the house dynamics so I guess is ok, but not great. The reward room was too lukewarm to work well - it could work much better. Double evictions should only be done when necessary - they always end up with rushed interviews and don't add much to the tension. More bans on people voting would make it more interesting than double evictions do.

I'd go for things that play with the HM's minds, like the ones I've listed, to increase tensions and change group dynamics, rather than the "two houses" type stuff - I just can't see that being very interesting personally.

3. Psychological games ie playing with time to see how the HMs adjust.
4 making the HMs hear really bad things said about them by their fellow HMs, however these things are not actually said by the HMs but are infact
said by a a voice dublicator that can imitate their voice
to that of the HMs.

Thats it. Big Brothers 1 and 2 were great as they were. Why ruin the shows heritage by keeping overloading with gimmicky rubbish?

What about the wedding in BB5? This could also have worked well in BB4 with Nush "marrying" Cam in the face of Steph's jealousy or in BB3 with Sophie and Spencer, much to Kate's chagrin. In BB1 it would have irked Mel to see Claire marrying Tom - oh but she did, didn't she?

I liked:

1 The Bedsit (although it may not have worked as well without the two fruit loops being it - imagine for example if we had had Cameron and Gos in there BORING!)
2 Rich/Poor divide - although went on for a bit too long

I would like to see

MORE MIIND GAMES

1 HMs being spirited away in the night - then coming back suddenly with no explanation as to where they have been or what they have been doing.

2 Tasks where success actually means failure - although HMs will never know whether to fail on purpose or not. (similar to the Boot Camp Task but even more evil)

3 - splitting them into sperate groups for a week then re-mixing them to see how the group dynamics change (similar to the rich/poor divide but without them actually being able to contact each other.

4 Silent BB

5 Isolating HMs physically from the other HMs

6 Beds being taken away

7 A twist with nominations - those who receive any nomination at all should go up for eviction, or those with the least nominations getting special privileges which will surely change the other HMs opinions of them.

8 Vote for who we want to stay as opposed to who we want to leave - this would keep the HMs who polarise the viewers more who are usually the most entertaiing e.g, Victor, Michelle.

What I do not want to see again

A new HM coming in half way through - been there, done that - boring now.

Double evictions - too risky.

Head of House - will only work if the right person is Head of House.

Judas Kiss.

Hot tub / jaccuzi's a good gimmic as a lot of gossipping or bonding tends to happen there.

New housemates in my opinion doesn't have the desired effect and for me has spoiled viewing as the initial group's bond is what really sets the precedent and the tone of what's to come.

Would like to see a 2 house BB as well. An idea that worked for another BB variant called "two worlds" where on one side of the moat was the house of luxury with all kinds of pamperings and on the other side, over the bridge, was the house of poverty with hard basics only. Everyone starts off in the proverty side and on each nomination the public decides who wins a 24 hour stay in the house of luxury. They're not allowed to steal things across back to the poverty side.

Cornchips' point 7 has a good twist on noms... BB should announce who goes up for the public vote and the others with nominations (but not up for the vote) get privileges, but without any further explanation as to why they've chosen those people. Those without any votes at all that week should be restricted or have a forfeit. Possibly those up for the public vote get asked privately by BB to choose from numbers 1-5 (if 5 people escaped nomination) then choose from a,b,c,d as a forfeit/restriction. The vote person won't know what he's being asked to choose & who for & the escapee won't know that a fellow hm has chosen his/her fate for them for the week.
