I prefered Holly myself, or maybe I got used to her - I'd love her to be back

I'd also like Nicky back instead of Ashley - they've got Jason for the performance/dance side of it

Holly coming back will depend on how The Voice does.

Christine has done a competent job on DOI but no more/less. ITV only gave her the job IMO to get some use of her for all the money they forked out. At the very least she'll have to take a hefty pay cut if she comes back next year & it wouldn't surprise me if ITV didn't try someone else.

Why blame Christine for the drop in ratings, this year has been awful so if they are keen for it to continue they should look at attracting people the public want to see rather than "has beens" who are trying to get their faces back on tv, I would rather have Christine than screechy Holly!

Hasn't her fiance recently signed to play in the US?

I thought she'd go to be with him anyway so as with the stories of the pros before this series I think it's a case of she's going by choice but it always makes better headlines if someone's been axed.

I don't mind Christine but don't think she's worth the money she got for a 3 year deal from ITV but then a lot of their (and BBC's) 'golden' boys and girls don't either. It says in the article that others have said she's 'very picky' about what programmes she'll do but that could just be that she doesn't want to be associated with white elephant programmes, on the other hand for what she's being paid she does need to be seen on TV as it also points out. But as bloodynora says the drop in ratings isn'd down to Christine. To me she's been better than Tess on SCD I've nothing against her but on that show she just hangs around like a Christmas decoration.

I can't why they need a second presenter on DOI; for the little they have to do, surely one would be sufficient?

I fear that Christine's replacement would be former stand-in presenter Coleen Nolan!

Without a doubt tonight is Christine's last gig at ITV. They were foolish enough to sign her up for the exclusive contract so they had to use her somewhere.

The truth is she was never as good as when she was on The One Show at the BBC with Adrian. That was her hey day....it all went down hill from there.

Either she will go abroad with Frank if he signs up for a US club, (although I always smell a rat when people with lots of money seem to spend an age engaged, don't outrule a break up there as well) or she will turn up on Channel 4 one of these days.

Can also see it being the lovely Ashley's last night on DOI tonight too. Love her.... gorgeous girl, but DOI was the wrong vehicle for her.

'Pip' the captain of a sinking program?, he's the one who needs the makeover.

I'm not bothered about CB

Exactly, perhaps have the occassional guest presenter. Give some others a chance to show their presenting skills. I like Christine but not as a presenter.

If Hollyncomes back I won't watch again. I've loved the classy dresses Christine wears. I love how they're trying to make it sound like she'll be axed when it's perfectly conceivable that she would choose to leave ITV anyway. Holly coming back would be a massive step backwards for her - that said she's not suited to The Voice.

I like Christine she is much better than Holly.

I don't really care whether Christine stays or goes, I don't dislike her but she is very much a wallpaper person - i.e. just 'there' and not really very noticeable. I would have Philip host the show on his own and go back to just having 3 judges as well.

The female presenters make very little difference to the ratings on this show. The stale format and poor choreography is the problem. I don't think Holly will come back. It would be embarrassing if they brought her back and the ratings didn't improve

Oh, perhaps to be fair, she was not too bad after all, even allowing for the fact that the only competition was that boring dreary charisma-free presenter who sat besides her.

She's going to be frozen out.

I think they will have Emma Willis on it next year.

Stephen Mullhern and her work together on Heart. I'm sure This Morning subs are getting a go each.

She was the only decent presenter/judge this year imo.

Will miss her if she goes or is axed. She may be better off leaving the series with all the bullying/hate she gets though.

Got to agree. he irritates the hell out of me so much so that I've watched the whole series on demand to cut him out. and yes that means I've not watched tonight yet, but had to nip in here as I feared Matt had won the show.

Change the presenters/format and put them all in a house together where they have to do tasks.....Oh that's been done before has it?

I don't go along with all the feeling against Christine - I like her. She is more intelligent than most presenters, What I do notice is that Schofield tries to get the attention on himself when Christine is speaking. They don't have much chemistry, that's true.

Is this show's future that certain ?
