She needs a greatest hits album this year then she can take a break, maybe find someone special (and before that, dump chris brown) and then start making a family. Then in 2015 she can make a proper comeback and do the superbowl.

A year isn't really much of a break, and I doubt many will even notice she's gone for such a short amount time. Gaga's been on a music releasing break for over a year, Katy Perry for nine months and I doubt the general public have noticed they've gone anywhere.

She won't be able to make a comeback in 2015.

The whole reason Rihanna is so successful is because she releases an album every year.

And Rihanna doesn't release that much music. People like Lil Wayne and Drake release a LOT more music than her (and again, they're very successful because of that).

People like Christina Aguilera and Nelly Furtado, etc. could still be huge now if they'd released an album every year imo. They're more talented than Rihanna, and have great songs too, but their long breaks is what hurt them.

I hope Rihanna does release an album this year, because I always like her albums.

I said before that what she needs to do is release a Singles Collection with a couple of new songs and then come back in 2014 or even early 2015 with a killer album. It would do her good.

I don't agree. Nelly and Christina are popstars and just disappear for odd years and then reappear and expect everyone to still be interested. Rihanna is one of them artists that you'll still hear about even if they're not doing music for a bit, examples: Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Britney, and she's also interested in acting so maybe she'll do a Justin Timberlake and stay even more relevant that way.

Plus I can imagine her still doing multiple collabs in her time off.

We know what's best for our ears, however. And it stands to reason that a continued policy of quantity versus quality is only going to harm her career long term. Her last two albums have been one or two megahits surrounded by unlistenable garbage, in my opinion - and that's from someone who used to be a huge fan of hers. All I ever read on social networks are people wishing she'd take a break. People are getting sick of her. Honestly, a break wouldn't do her a bit of harm.

I dislike Rihanna but she is popular and people like her. I think that is right about Nelly Furtado and Christina particularly Christina Aguilera.

Rihanna seems to release something all the time and she has a huge fan base in her favor.
