I use av2hdr to transfer my movies to my Humax Foxsat. I have just purchased a new camera that records in "progressive" and av2hdr will not create the necessary files to work on the Foxsat. I can render the files in 1080i then it works, but that is wasting the "P" capability.

Is there any workaround that will allow me to transfer 1080p files to my Humax?

Any help and advice gratefully received

I don't think the Broadcom chip in the Foxsat supports 1080p50/60.

MPEG-4 H.264/AVC Level 4.2 is required, the spec states Level 4.0.

The HDR-1000s will play back 1080p24 blu-ray rips as will the HDR FOX T2.

Graham, Thanks

OK. What do I need to get if I want to transfer and store "P" files for watching on the TV, just like the humax does now for "i" files.

To clarify, I make a clip on the new camera in "P" - edit on PC and render as 1080P - Now I want to watch on the TV. What do I need

What Graham is saying is he does not think the Foxsat HDR can render 1080p as it cannot output it.

You need a media player with level 4.2 support. I think the latest WD TV Live media players have 1080p50/60 support.

Check before you buy though
