Hey

I have seen people saying they have subscribed to Al Jazeera Sports online service even though they are in the UK.

How do people do it?

It's geoblocked but it appears you can watch Al Jazeera Sport Global and Al Jazeera Sport News: http://www.en.aljazeerasport.tv/Blocked

You need to subscribe to something like Overplay. Al Jazeera requires the VPN option for sign up but after that the DNS service works fine

They can only be accessed by viewers in Middle Eastern countries for which Al Jazeera has the sports broadcast rights and they can tell where you're viewing from because of your internet IP address. As it's a UK address, you can only see the first two channels http://www.en.aljazeerasport.tv/Live but someone living in Egypt would be able to see all of the channels.

If you're thinking of viewing via satellite rather than online, then it's now perfectly lawful to watch and superscribe to pay-TV from abroad but you'd need a satellite dish pointed at the right satellite cluster. This might help: http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sclie...w=1024&bih=600 http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sclie...w=1024&bih=600 http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=143

We cannot, of course, discuss anything illicit otherwise that would result in a forum ban.

Or you can just use https://www.overplay.net and subscribe to all the channels from anywhere in the world.

Yes, iP's outside middle east or north africa countries are geoblocked. I think you have to find a VPN or DNS service that can bypass geoblocked error. You can use google search for that or follow this article may help jazeera fans,
http://www.intervpn.com/help/how-to-...ked-error.html

Im using HMA and overplay but smartdns of overplay sometimes suddenly become geoblocked. I think they blocked it every live match. Any way you can use HMA or other one.

This is clearly an attempt to generate referrals to the companies they link to. Mods need to look at this because it's misleading.

I think smartdns have resolved this issue. Ive got an email from their support last night. But first time when i have followed all steps by clearing my cache and cookies then update my ip nothing was happened always have the geoblocked error, but today when I have tried to enter to aljazeera site with smartDns all was OK. I can't confirm if that was by clearing my cache and cookies done last night or other. But work

This is the their support
"Could you please login to your OverPlay account, click on "SmartDNS" tab to re-activate the SmartDNS service for your IP address
You will need to wait up to 60 seconds for it to take effect, then please clear your web browser cache and cookies then retry accessing the Al Jazeera Sport website and see if that works fine for you"

It's a high quality. First 5 to 8 seconds with SD then the quality will change to HD.

I took the plunge and signed up last week. Quality is better now I ditched the Chrome flash player.
