I can't remember. Haven't seen it.

I think the front cover is like a cliff and someone is trapped between it.

He has to saw his leg off or something.

Thank you.

Might buy it. Remember seeing the cover and synopsis a while back and looks a view.

It's ok. It's one of those "watch once but probably never again" type of films!

Try "48 Hours" instead, it's less than half the length

Anyone remember a film which begins with a man being rowed to an island where he checks into a hotel? Turns out he's dead and this is the afterlife. He gets a really good room and later learns that the room you get depends on how well you're remembered by everyone who's still alive. As people get forgotten, they move into progressively worse rooms until they end up shivering in the waters around the island.

The main character is an actor who was murdered. He later wins a lottery allowing him to return to life. It ends with him putting on a record on a jukebox in a cafe which is a forgotten hit by a dead woman he met in the hotel. She was rapidly being forgotten and therefore moving down towards the lake.

It ends with the cafe owner saying he remembers the record, the implication being that the main character is trying to help the dead woman he'd befriended by reminding people about her music.

I only saw it once and it's been bugging me for ages that I can't remember what it's called.
