Off for 3 weeks now - I hope he gets well very soon whatever is wrong with him.

Yes I've been a bit worried that he's been off for a fair few weeks now. Hope he is on the mend. He's brilliant.

They haven'tmentioned anything since he was off the 1st week - hope he gets better whatever it is. Am worried that it may be serious if he's been off for 3 weeks.

Maybe they sacked him because they were getting tired of having to flash his name up on screen when he spoke.

They said he was ill the first week, and it was the first show he missed in 8 years.

They still flash Simon Reed's name up on the screen.

Maybe it's got more to do with this, if any truth to it of course
