its ok I think im going to give Saskia a break she coming across as a very sore loser over a simple TV show. So must have a very dull life if she this upset over it all.

I for one trust the knowledge and experience of esteemed skaters such as Robin Cousins and Karen Barber - as well as what I see with my own eyes.

well if you let people who are paid by a show to make your mind up for you then fine. Me I dont need others to tell me what I think is good and bad after all Im not a child who need telling what to think etc.

And after all your talking about people who said Joe was fun to watch when imo Joe was just a complete disaster therefore their opinions meant jack shit when it come to true judging of what is entertaining.

Time for them to scrap this show IMO. The ratings aren't that good for ITV.

I have followed skating for sufficient years outwith Dancing On Ice to know when moves are not being done correctly. Whilst I do not expect professional standards you would expect basic things like crossovers being completed etc and the actual skating not to be sloppy which it is because he is going fast rather than concentrating on accuracy. Also you do not need any skating credentials to see that his posture is bad the hunched over skating is pretty obvious for anyone to see.

Also I'm sure there are plenty of others on here who are ex skaters who will say the exact same thing that I am saying.

It's called having enough sense to recognise a superior knowledge on a given subject - and not naively thinking I know best. I would also suggest that jumping on bandwagons and following 'popular' opinion - is exactly what children do.

But not Robin and Karen - who are, you seem to have forgotten, professional skaters - which is why they are judges on the show - and not you, me or these other mysterious, anonimous ex-skaters on here

And whats even better is Joe was even on the show tonight therefore shows us you cant have been paying much attention to tonight shows as well therefore make you judgement a little bit void seen as you cant have watched it fully.

You can moan and groan until the cows come home Matt was not all that on this occasion the experts were not actually right. For whatever reason there has been blatant favourtism towards one skater.

There are posters here who have skated I think it is diamond1 who have told you that his skating is not as good as the judges are making out.

Previous years you may have had basis for your arguments but when the majority of people are saying the same things then you do have to question well maybe they have a point. Ok maybe you don't but I would certainly look at whether the points others were making were valid if I was appearing to be in a minority group of thinking on here.

When Robin is in the case of Luke a few weeks ago admitting to ignoring some of the mistakes he made and still giving him a high mark and Matt admits stumbling in front of the judges and almost dropping the hat and it is ignored then you do have to start questioning just how reliable the "experts" opinions are.

Up to now I have pretty much always agreed with Robin and Karen even when they have gone against my favourite as at least previously they were able to give some reasoning behind the scores or comments. IMO this year they have not been able to justify them and have been marking Matt unnaturally highly.

What is your obsession with Joe. I had never even mentioned Joe, he was pretty unmentionable in the grand scheme of things. Sounds like some bizarre deflection from the case in point.

Have you been copying other posts as that line reads pretty much word for word to the previous. I repeat, for those that don't understand, I know who Joe is, but what was the relevance? Your posts need to make more sense, if you want people to know what you are talking about.
