Do they really. I would never have guessed. I'm devastated beyond belief.

I would say bitter at not getting your way and taking it out on other posters on here was nearer the mark.

You've tried everything else and now sarcasm.

The very Robin who ignored mistakes. This in it self can have us questioning just how reliable his opinions are as a judge, Because a judge should pick up on them things.

seems to me that it's not difficult to understand the use of Joe as an example to the point being made and also relevant

I believe the poster knew what I was getting at but because we are not agreeing with them they are making crap up.

Its not worth it let them be bitter as Im on a high that Beth won and wont let someone like that get try and get in the way of it.

Good point angel. But I bet you get ignored.

Oh for heavens sake. He didn't ignore mistakes - he knew that the overall skating trumped a small, and rare mistake.

Yes he did because if you was a real judge eg as in a real skating competition you do take these mistakes into account. Something Robin did not do.

Believe away - even though you believe wrongly. I really couldn't give a rat's ar*e.

Besides I have to be up at six - can't believe I am still on here responding to such pointless posts. Night, night!

The problem is as soon as three of the four judges saved Matt over Shayne they opened themselves up to questioning from the general pubic who had seen them send skaters home because of mistakes before. In the eyes of us mere mortals a mistake equals an exit and Matt's reaction to the stumble also suggests that he thought the same thing.

Matt's card was marked as soon as he fell into the bottom two; the judges would have done better to mark him harshly and attempt to drill up a sympathy vote rather than fawn over him as though he was the best ever celebrity ever to take part.

In my opinion Matt was the most confident out on the ice but in all honesty I genuinely enjoyed Beth's performances far more.
I would have been just as pleased for Matt if he had have won. The blatant biased judges comments in favour of Matt each week made no difference to the way I voted.

ROBIN has stated throughout the series, on more than one occasion, that Beth is the best technical skater and that Matt's technique is sloppy at best. He has said it himself. That's why we are so confused by his overmarking of Matt.

For what it's worth, although you don't seem to care much, I skate. Beth's technique was much superior to Matt's, but apparently in your view performance trumps skating. That's fair enough if you think a good performance is better than good skating, but please don't lie and try to pass it off as something else.

I have to say as a DOI fan, I was really dissapointed with the Judges last night. Their response to Beth winning was a disgrace. They didn't even give her a standing ovation!.

Not only that Karen looked dissapointed and Jason's reaction was pathetic!.

It's dissapointing as they are meant to be impartial!, Real let down!

I don't skate, but I do have eyes to see Matt's poor posture and imprecise footwork (even though he tried to mask it through great speed), and the fact that he didn't seem to make any attempt to improve on these shortcomings through the series.

I also have ears, so could hear that he finished significantly behind the music on one of his skates in the final but the judges let that go uncommented and unpenalised.

In answer to an earlier post by a different FM, these are my qualifications to judge. These and the fact that I have a telephone and a mind of my own.

If we all just suppinely follow the judges' scores, what would be the point of a vote?
