I think Matt does the strength moves and overhead lifts better, but he wasn't great choregraphing Suzanne's Bolero or maximising Jorgie's potential last year. Dan does know what wins.”
I agree and I think the unneeded save me skate last week showed a lot of her potential as well which was obviously choreographed by Dan too. I think it would be good to see more input into the choreo from the celebs or I would potentially like if Dan wasn't taking part to see him being involved in the choreography side of things as I think we would see a lot more interesting routines. He knows how to get the best out of his partners and how showcase them properly but also I think he gets what the public want to see from a routine and that is what makes a good choreographer although having an excellent student also helps.
I think thats why I get so frustrated on here when people accuse Dan of holding his partners back because when you see what he can do when he is choreographing for them you realise that it is not him that is to blame really, unfortunately he and however he is paired with are at the mercy of Chris Dean and if he doesn't want to do good choreo then well your doomed but I just get so frustrated when people blame Dan for it when Dan is clearly a more than capable, teacher, partner and choreographer.
