Not sure if there is a post on this or if i missed somthing but i found it a bit off that gareth didnt get his flowers and lap of honor tonight with the exit he had and the effort he made to return tonight maybe he should still have had his moment to speak with robyn

He should have won!!!!! The least they could have done was let him skate one more time.

I just think in light of his exit his lap of honour and interview would have been fitting

I think Gareth deserved more fuss made of him, he was given no more attention than the likes of Anthea and Oona! That said I was very pleased that he took the opportunity to praise Robin - he seems like such a lovely man and the final was poorer without him in it.

They probably thought he would be scared of the icey wicey and it would bring back horrible memories for him

I was so pleased for Gareth when Beth singled out his sad departure as her worst moment - and he looked genuinely moved by her comments.

Producers = crass

She was probably just after his fan base and votes, not that she needed them

The voting was over by then ..................... It was a genuine and heartfelt feeling for Gareth. Some people just don't know what loveliness is.

Anyway why should ITV bother with him, he couldn't be bothered to do the flying last week
