HI. What are your views on Vanilla Ice., Just listen to ice ice baby and it never gets old such a great tune... It's a shame he only did the one big hit as such. Why do rap fans think he is a joke? I dont know why? Is it becasue he is white. Anyway what are your views on Vanilla Ice? Or what did u make of ice ice baby?

When ice ice baby came out everyone loved it except queen fans. He sampled under pressure but then claimed it was a different generated sample or something to that effect.

It was a one hit wonder and rightly too. However it cant be ignored that he did help white guys into main stream rap music.

He's alright I suppose. He was funny on Dancing on Ice a couple of years ago when he danced to his own song I first heard Ice Ice Baby on the radio going into university one morning and it was a very icy morning.

Hip Hop fans see him as a joke because hewas/is one. If it was purely because he was white then Eminem would not be as successful as he is. Where as Eminem has genuine talent and skill Vanilla never had either. Vanilla Ice was just a culture bandit who was rightfully exiled from Hip Hop by his peers.

I always thought he was a bit of a knob, but after DOI he really showed his side, he's a lovely guy and quite a funny one too, really misjudged him

Ice Ice Baby was an absolute 'tune' back in the day, I think Vanilla thought he was 'it' because he dated Madonna (mind you, who wouldn't, she was a looker back then!) and was a bit of an arse but he seems to have calmed down now.

Ice Ice Baby, an iconic song.

The fact its still talked about nearly a quarter of a century after it came out.

It was out the year i started my first job with Mc Hammer cant touch this.

We have a 17 year old working with us now and when listening to planet rock under pressure came on and he said i thought this was Vanilla ice.

Found it quite amusing.
