Why do some professionals always get the poor skaters and others the best.

Is with Ray the only time Maria has won? I don't follow DOI as closely as SCD so I don't remember it as well. I'd love to see her have a contender next series if there is one, I think she's great, she has warmth and style on the ice, and looking back at the routines with Ray which made good use of his ballroom and latin training with samba rolls etc, she looked at such ease.

Yes won with Ray.
Came 2nd with Gary Lucy and 3rd with Duncan James. She also won the Australian version of the show.
(I used wikipedia btw just incase anyone thinks I'm actually capable of remembering that! Also shocked to read she's 39, thought she was maybe early 30s at a push!)
