Very sad news about Tony Gubba, I loved his commentaries and summing up on DoI.

Very sad news. I know we have made fun of his DOI commentary and his names for moves etc over the years but he has been very much part of the whole "fixtures and fittings" as it were of DOI and he will be missed.

I'm really sad to hear this. I'll miss Tony Gubba's unique style of commentary on DOI. As mentioned by a few other FMs him going into hysterics at the Toddy Carty incident is one of the funniest DOI moments ever.

Indeed, a very sad bit of news. Who could forget Tony struggling to contain himself when Todd Carty flew off into the wilderness, a classic DOI moment. RIP Tony, you'll be sadly missed

Very sad to hear this. Tony was definitely part of the DOI furniture and I was only wondering last night that it must be serious after him missing 3 weeks. Will definitely miss his commentaries on DOI.
