Next year they need to praise all the top runners the same, not focus on one, as Matt losing makes all the 10's and OTT comments look ridiculous. If Beth had received 10's too (or Matt some 9.0's) it wouldn't have come out looking half so bad.

I do agree they could have smiled through gritted teeth and applauded, if only till they knew the camera's had stopped rolling - though maybe it's better it went the way it did as it showed everyone how they really felt

I don't know how they failed to notice that when Beth performed, there were kids screaming her name every time..That should have been a clue to her popularity. I just re-watched her Clown routine, that double spin was stunning and every bit as beautiful as Aliya Mustafina's on floor in gymnastics...Beth had world class difficulty and execution and her elegence and poise made her look like a classical Russian gymnast. It is a pity she has retired because it would something special to see her put that elegance into her floor work now...

I haven't watched the show for the last couple of weeks, but intend to catch up via itvplayer over this week - what sort of reaction did Torville and Dean have when she won?

Exactly, they sent home Pamela for it. I actually respected Jason for saving Shane and then the next day likening it to the fact that they hadn't saved Pam for the same reason. So to then save Matt for it was a bit hypocritical

Jason isnt my cup of tea at all but asides from Ashley hes the only one that judges the way he should be judging. Karen is by far the worst, biased and over emotional she decides who she likes before theyve even performed

Sadly, week after week, Robin came across as a man who tries to be all things to all people and fails completely.

There was an unpleasant feeling that many of his comments were really just made out of obligation rather than commitment.

Add to that Karen's generally ineffectual presence the Judges really did make a mess of the whole series.

Very sad, and a great shame for Beth who was a worthy and gracious winner.

Karen Barber ‏@Woo2Kaz An amazing show and a brilliant series the wrap party is in full swing lots of happy people well done all x Mar 10

Lisa Bailey ‏@lisa01403 @Woo2Kaz What do you think? Beth a worthy winner or did you want Matt to have won?

@lisa01403 @Woo2Kaz I think the (extremely unprofessional) face said it all Lisa. The judging panel needs a very good shake up next year.

They were professionalism personified. We only really saw them when they handed the trophy to Beth & Dan but they looked perfectly happy to me.
