Where did you get this information I didn't know Nyssa was on it. Are you confusing Nyssa with Peri?

Yes, Radio Times said Peri, also Sylvia Noble and ... wait for it ... Jake Simmonds. (Bit of trouble filling up the chairs?)

Jake Simmonds actor has been on Weakest Link too. It said on Wikipedia. Which is what I had to read to find out who Jake Simmonds was. He should be used to the pressure keg environment of these high profile intellectual battles.

edit: Also, Coal Hill Janitor - have you ever actually seen Pointless? There are no chairs. Well, one. But Jake Simmonds won't be filling it. if you're going to participate in the internet I suggest you check your facts. The internet is very fussy about facts.

There's an article about in the latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine and according to that the teams are

1) Bernard Cribbins and Jacqueline King

2) Nicola Bryant and Andrew Hayden Smith

3) Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred

4) Louise Jameson and Frazer Hines

K9 will make a guest appearance as well

Why, no. Why would I have watched Pointless if there's never been a Doctor Who edition before? It would just be Pointless.

One chair. They do know how to save the dosh. But what does Mr Smith need a chair for?

The chair is not for Mr Smith. It's for his Pointless friend Richard, the holder of answers.

They call the famous people version of the show "Pointless Celebrities". Which is very honest of them.

I wonder if all of the questions will be Who themed as well rather than the usual general knowledge - I hope so.

The categories for the final round - "Doctor Who , Doctor Who, Doctor Who, Doctor Who or Doctor Who".

Sylvester McCoy was not a bad doctor. His big finish audios are usually very good and he had some very good tv episodes as well.

One Doctor and Five Companions isn't too bad.

They could have all been Companion's Mothers or Bloke's from that episode from 6 years ago

I'm not sure if it's been confirmed, but I believe the transmission date for this episode of Pointless is 23rd March
