Hi all,

Can anyone advise how to get a useable fast forward in iPlayer on the Hdr1000s? I dont seem to be able to fast forward or rewind in less than 10 minute leaps which of course is useless.

I have iplayer on my LG tv and my daughters Wii and both give proper control of these functions.

ITV player works fine with normal FF and RW options.

Thanks

Derek

Can't say I've noticed this phenomenon Derek. I was using iPlayer this evening and both forward and rewind worked just fine.

Works for me as well, if the OP's broadband speed is a bit marginal perhaps he hasn't much buffer build up. As an experiment try pausing the programme for 10 mins before viewing. Does this work for you ?

Hi Both, sorry for late response, been away for a while.

Re Broadband speed, consistant 10 meg via cable (speedtest.net). Also, works fine on ITV player, plus iplayer works fine on LG tv and Wii on the same connection so broadband issues don't really make sense.

It is interesting though to note that neither of you have the same issue, which is really strange. It does seem variable, in that originally only stepping by 10 mins, but today stepping by 6 mins.

Also, sometimes unable to ff at all. Tried pausing for a while etc. but still the same.

Very starnge all round. I think a call to humax is on the cards.

Cheers
Derek

The bbc do not want to know about this issue as the Humax HDR 1000S is not on the supported devices list and freesat cannot be bothered to reply on the issue as usual...... see:- http://community.freesat.co.uk/t5/Ch...ght/false#M666
