It's actually amazing. I get the feeling Timbaland will be the new in demand producer yet again. I hope everyone else is rethinking their releases because JT BROUGHT IT!!! This album is fire. Go get streaming from Itunes. It's a free listen and will be a very well spent hour and almost 20 minutes.

I have pre-ordered the album anyway but am loving what I am hearing! First track pusher love girl is great! The album seems like one big story!, tracks are very long though but its easy to tell when the "main part" of the song ends

Pusher Love Girl, Mirrors, Dont Hold The Wall, and Blue Ocean Floor are so far my favorites. Timbo and JT have done a wonderful job.

I love him and I still have a poster of him up on my bedroom.

I might be the minority but I love Suit & Tie and Mirrors. I love the Combination of Timbaland & JT (also Nelly)

Didn't like Suit and Tie, but absolutely LOVE Mirrors.

I preordered the album from Amazon, and can't wait to hear it. I won't be listening before then though.

It's fantastically well produced and shows so much progression in seven years, but the album isn't really for me. My main nitpick is that the majority of the songs are 7-8 minutes long and it's rather not needed.

I heard this....slick production, brilliant vocals, excellent songs. It's honestly like JT never left, I love the album from start to finish and also love that he embraced longer tracks. I think it's the best album of the year so far, it's going to be hard to beat it imo, very impressed.

EXCELLENT album. I love the fact that he experiments with old retro and modern sound.- my favorite songs besides Suit and Tie are Pusher Love Girl, Tunnel Vision, Strawberry Bubblegum, Hold On The Wall and Let The Groove In - but honestly, there is not 1 song that I don't like. The melody and production is so rich - the album title is spot on - it is truly an experience. I was certain I would get very annoyed because of the very long songs, but because he mixes 2-3 musical styles in each song, it is not boring or annoying - Strawberry Bubblegum is a great example.. I mean, the last part of the song is completely different than the rest of the song.

This for the is definitely one of the best RnB albums in recent years, it is so nice to hear proper music for a change, not the same general pop, dance, electronic music.

Justin definitely made something original again, whether someone likes him or not, he is very talented and creative. I'm sure this album will be a huge seller.

There is NO reason for an album full of 8 minute tracks....it smacks of pretension
Mirrors would actually be much better if it was 4/5 minutes long.
Most people will only skip songs when they reach the 4 minute mark anyway.
Less is more, JT!

I can't stream it from Itunes.... Am I supposed to pre-order it first?

How is that even remotely pretentious? He isn't being showy, he's just making music. The breakdowns are really good. He could have labelled them separately like some do for the whiners, but what's the point? If you don't want to listen to a song in it's entirety, don't. No one is forcing you. He's hardly the first artist to make an album full of songs longer than four minutes.

Quick question for those who have heard it. Are these 8 minute songs the same song for 8 minutes, or are they like some of the tracks from FS/LS, which were 8 minutes but merged interludes and different songs together (like Love Stoned and What Goes Around)?

Most of the long songs have a main song part and then around four or five minutes, a breakdown that typically sounds different than the rest of the song. Not sure if you have heard Mirrors, yet, but sort of like that.

I'm a very casual JT fan, I liked all of the releases from Justified but never bought the album. I liked some of the stuff from Future Sex Love Sounds too.

I heard Suit & Tie for the first time the other night and quite liked it.

That's exactly how it appears.
Would Mirrors be any less of a song if it was edited to 4/5 minutes?

Would Purple Rain? (No I'm not comparing JT to Prince, just saying.) The last three minutes of Mirrors don't sound like the first five. It's an outro.

Let the Groove Get in is one of the songs where I agree it should probably be cut down, but only because he just says the same thing over and over and over for a good minute and a half and it's a bit draggy. I have that problem with a lot of pop songs, though, even if they are only 3 minutes long. I'd rather them add another bridge than keep saying the same thing and dragging.
