I am having it for my tea tonight. Any other fans?

I love making it into a pie with cheese on top then grilled until crispy. Yum!

Yes, as long as the mince is simple with just stock, onions and a couple of good tablespoons of Worcester Sauce.

I'm a very big fan of mince and potatoes.
It can be plain, just with a touch of onion and an Oxo cube, or highly flavoured with lots of herbs or lots of spices. Depends what mood I'm in. But certainly, mince and potatoes are a staple in this house.

I've made mince tonight, with diced carrots and peas in it, topped with thickly sliced potatoes overlapped on the top. Leftover roast beef dinner gravy went into it so it was extra thick and tasty !

It has to be a plate of chips with a big dollop of mince on top. Then let the gravy soak into the chips. And thick white bread to mop it all up. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Mince, onions, chopped carrots and turnip (swede if you're down south) and a rich beef stock pot.

I would call it a hotpot but you could call it cottage pie if you wanted to. Mash potato is another topping as well.
