I like my Thai curries to be on hot side of spicy, so it's Kaeng Phet (Red) each and every time for me.

I prefer the green because it's a different taste...........the red just tastes a bit generically 'curry'

I prefer the red, mainly because of the colour.

This brings back lovely memories of siting by Krabi beach in southern Thailand devouring a lovely chicken red curry!

I preferred red for a long time but recently had a green one from our local Thai which was gorgeous so have gone back to them.

The best i've had was actually a yellow curry.

On the menu it was called jungle curry but I asked what it was and the waitress said it was inbetween green and red curry in flavour and heat.

A jungle curry should be substantially hotter than either green or red - and is my favourite (I'm not sold on the use of coconut milk/cream to make the green/red sauces). OP:

Broaden your horizon and try a Jungle curry

For Thai its got to be red.
I find green a bit pointless like Korma.

I've just got some Phaal sauce from Tesco. I might need some water handy ?

One of the worst things. Banana smoothie/milkshake is supposed to be good.

Duck red curry.....divine

Thing that's off-putting about green curry for me is the coconut milk AND lime - like sour milk?
