If you would actually bother to watch their recent acapellas and videos of them on tour you would see they can sing. Their harmonies are better than the other UK girlbands.

Their harmonies are better than other UK girlbands? I think Little Mix are okay and don't have anything against them but in general, all UK girl "groups" (not bands) have a good grasp of harmonies. It's the UK boy bands that don't bother. And also, you are not in an objective position to be saying Little Mix are better.

I see the comparisons to other people, I like a few of his songs, and he seems like a nice guy. We all know it won't last long so leave him alone. Damn, forums are just a way of unleashing venom on other people. I feel like I've said this a million times, but, just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad. It's quite sad to see people throw strops over music they don't like. Change the radio station, it's not difficult.

If you listen to the second half of their album some of the songs are quite mature and a lot of their fanbase are age 19 upwards.

I don't mind his music too much - it's the 'cheeky chappy' persona and the wink every three seconds in his videos that annoys me.

I get that I am a big fan so I am probably a bit biased towards them but if you compare them to girls aloud, the biggest Girl group in recent years, GA are not very good harmonisers. They get a lot of respect from non fans too for their vocals and critics compliment them on their harmonies. Even SBTV featured them and said below the videos that they are talented and that is why they featured them even though they're commercial. I agree that boygroups unfairly get away without harmonising (1D try but its usually one person singing lead with 1 or 2 harmonising with him, not the full band) Its stupid, if you have 5 members use them.
