Oh I disagree I think he saw it and timed it, he was looking in the direction of the train. It must be horrific to witness that even so.
That's what I thought too. I'll have to go back and check to be sure, but I definitely had a sense of him looking down the line when walker had him up against the barrier.

I thought it was the adrenaline.
Yes. He was inches away from a passing train. He could have nearly died himself.

I don't think he knew the train was coming tbh so he wasn't ready to witness the scene, personally I was taken by surprise I didn't expect it.
at the end brendan was sort of shouting to release his distress, if they didn't show it was him I would have believed the cry was coming from poor walker dying
I think he saw it coming just my opinion tho. he was looking over in that direction and was just kinda stalling there till the right time to push him into it.

Thanks awww I guess that's why it was Brendan and the kids because later on Walker was threatning them. Or was that Ste's phone I wonder?

I love the fact that Walker was mid air when hit by the train. Great timing

I thought Brendan's reaction was brilliant. Emmett never makes the obvious choice, he tries things and he's not afraid of making half the audience go WTF? Better that than play it safe.
I thought it was great too. That reaction, and the moment the train hit Walker. The fight stuff doesn't do much for me, to be honest. But the conclusion was immense.

Now that is true. Doug is off making cupcakes with John Paul.

But on the whole, I'd rather Ste had been at the hospital, killing Kevin slowly and painfully.
#DarkSte

Now that would have been amazing.

Ste's back right at the centre of the story with Brendan tomorrow, at least.

I rolled back the video to see who was on the phone. Brendan was holding Leah and it was Lucas who was in the foreground. Daddy Brendan saves the kids!

The trouble with Hollyoaks is that they will constantly spoil epic moments with drivel. Even as we get close to the end we will have Darren thinking about his bloody pub! Brendan is going to be gone forever so why don't they just work on this storyline. It felt far too fast tonight.

He gets lots of things done to him (passive), but isn't doing much himself (active). Don't get me wrong, he's fab in the storyline, but I just wish he was more active. I'm aware this is my own personal peeve and no one else's.

I agree with this. It felt kinda flat to me because it keep switching to youknowwho. Why could they have left that stuff until next week.

I'm not keen on fight scenes, but this one was short enough that it didn't get into silly Broxy fight territory, and the end was amazing.

The chase was great too.

It's fantastic that we're getting the incredibly dark, emotional stuff, and also the action movie scenes. And tomorrow there'll be the emotional resolution with the abuse reveal, and the darkest of dark stuff with Seamus attacking Brendan. It's brilliant.

I think this is what Emmett meant about getting all he ever wanted. We're getting Stendan. Brendan/Cheryl. Brendan/Seamus. Dark comedy. Darker drama. Violence. Action scenes. And really gritty meaty powerful material.

I'm crossing my fingers that this is how it will all go down and Didi and I will cyber high five when our theory happens lol

Are we reallyy SUPPOSED TO believe WALKER will come back for BRENDAN NOW!
impossible HAHA!!!

what a great episode it was...but it seemed short to me....
Same here and wasnt there a little bit in This Morning where we see Brendan in a church bending down? I thought he was going to go into the church and then find Walker in there and then somehow end up in the train tracks !
Its interesting as in one of the interviews Emmett says hw he was disappointed when they cut the fight scene in Later and they seem to have done the same tonight which was a shame as i actaully found some of the moves quite camp and funny
