If all soap, then it is Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter. She is so dominant in this category that it is silly to even ask "who is best soap bitch?" None can hold a candle to her. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the character of Alexis defined what being a bitch is in modern culture. Characters like Janine, Kim Tate are not even remotely in the same category. Not even remotely.

If one narrows it down to best bitch in british soap, then it's more open ended.

And let's face it, she tormented the terminally dull Krystle and Blake. For that she deserved a knighthood.

This person was not in a soap but she was a real bitch Sherry Palmer from 24 - just wanted to give her an honory mention.

Sadie King from Emmerdale - I loved her OTT entrance and how she pushed that Golddigger Charity down the stairs.
Cindy Beale from Eastenders from the kidnapping, bed hopping and Murder plot..
Sable Colby and Dominique Deveraux a perfect sparring partners for Alexis in Dynasty they really took it to her..

Totally agree - the rest are all amateurs in comparison. Kim also had the 'class' to pull it off.

Janine Butcher & Cindy Beale. Janine more though she is classic soap bitch but still has a heart somewhere anyway! Looking forward to her return i want Bad Janine!

Corrie
Tracy Barlow without a doubt another great soap bitch. For me on Corrie no one has come close. Carla Connor has her moments though.

Emmerdale
Kim Tate probably one of the best ever. Fantastic character left on such a high. Sadie King was a good bitch aswell! Steph Stokes was utterly mad more of a psycho. Great character though!

U.S soaps
Alexis Colby the best of the bunch! Joan Collins so iconic. Love it! Sammy Jo was also more of a bitch aswell quite trashy. She changed in the later seasons though. Fallon Colby the original deserves a mention aswell. Sable Colby another one.
Melrose Place has a few. Amanda Woodward, Sydney Andrews, Brooke Armstrong, Kimberly Shaw, Taylor Mcbride etc. Amanda top of the bunch i think & Kimberly more of a psycho!

Footballers Wives/Bad Girls
Not really Soaps but deserves a mention. Tanya Turner fantastic character such a bitch & Amber Gates was a bitch aswell who later went mad! I loved Tanya vs Amber.
Bad Girls Natalie Buxton pure evil & Shell Dockley! Natalie actually made Shell have a good side! Shell had the back story childhood etc she was made evil. Natalie at times was evil for the sake of it. Brilliant characters though.

Finally Hollyoaks last but not least! Clare Devine evil evil evil! Fantastic character. She didn't win villain of the year for nothing! Cant wait for her return

I've tried to think of a soap bitch that I have really liked and haven't been able to come up with one. Seems I'm not a big fan of the soap bitch. Who knew?

I find it really interesting that no one has said Debbie Dingle from Emmerdale - just goes to prove that the character is not as popular as the Emmerdale Producers think she is.

But like someone has already said about Tracy Barlow - not good just a bitch.
Same with Debbie Dingle. Not good. Just a bitch.


For me it's Alexis in Dynasty.

Followed by Kim Tate in Emmerdale.

Kim Tate for Emmerdale- the way she checked to see if Frank was still breathing then used the irror to check her make up was just pure bitch class in the first degree

Mrs Mangel was good in Neighbours early days but I dont think you can call an old lady a bitch it just seems wrong lol

Kim Tate is, without doubt the biggest soap bitch of course.
