PS Vita Upgrade or Price Drop
Would any of the more up to date folks or folks who are in the know have any information on the the thread title?
I'm itching to get a PS Vita but i'm wary that a Hardware upgrade or price drop could be imminent and don't want to get caught out. If i knew one was coming soon i suppose i could hold off but if not i'd definitely like to purchase one soon. Any info would be really grateful. thanks |

They've just cut the price in America for the 3G version from $299 to $199 at Sony Stores.
Might be an indication for a price cut, but no one can be 100%. |

I could just bite the bullet and buy one now, but with my luck a new cheaper model would be released lol

I'd suggest not waiting for a price that may never happen either What you need to think about is how much the console, games, memory cards and accessories will cost in total and then work out whether you can afford to spend that much If the answer is yes you can and you want one, then what is stopping you |

Crackin match Sunday, and if it wasn't for that pesky 'toe' of god!
![]() Difficult to call Sony re the EU price drop. It will get a reduction no doubt, but precisely when?! The system itself however is different class, particularly if you bag a Plus membership and with it some of the platforms finest titles free. Uncharted GA, MGS HD, Lumines and Gravity Rush to name but four. The games mentioned are at least 80 quid retail so there's a sorta price drop in itself. Personally it's well worth it. PS+ 1 Year £29.99 |

I'm hoping for a price drop too because I've wanted one for ages. I've got a Playstation Plus subscription too so I'd have lots of free games
The price of the console isn't that bad really but I just can't afford it lol especially since I want to start saving up for a PS4. So I'll have to just wait and see rather than get one soon.

No longer selling it apparently, as it was dropped to the same price as the wi-fi only model and was $199.97 which a lot of shops use on clearance items!

@Chelsea Saint - Yeah good game lol, we were very lucky to get away with a draw though. Was definitely Chelsea's game.
Ok so i went ahead and took the jump. Got the WiFi model from Argos. £219.99 for the Vita, LBP & 4gb memory card. Will get a larger memory card at later date. |
