Such a classic song for the 90s, heard it on the radio today. Easily all saints best song. Anyone else love it

I like this song. The chorus is the best part IMO. I also like Pure Shores and Black Coffee.

It's a great song. All Saints were awesome. It's a shame they just kind of faded. It looked like they were going to make a comeback with "Rock Steady" but unfortunately not...

Is it true though that during the video of "Black Coffee" they all had to appear separately as they weren't speaking to each other?

I think Black Coffee is by far their best song, with Pure Shores second and Never Ever 3rd

Surely they must be three of the biggest selling british girl group singles ever???

I'm hoping Stooshe are going to do tunes similar to their style...or MKS

Never Ever sold over 1 million
Pure Shores is around 700k
Black Coffee is over 200k, surprised it didn't sell more.

They never faded, they broke up, they were at the top of their game and the biggest girl group at the time - Destinys Child were just coming to prominence at the time - think there was a big falling out between the Appletons vs Shaznay and Mel. Something to do with a jacket I heard. Then they were dropped after Chick Fit which I rather liked

Anyways I loved Never Ever - one of those songs that comes on that you still know every single word to, from 'A few questions that I used to know'.......all the way to 'You can write it in a letter babe, cos I really need to know.'

They weren't at the top of their game from "Rock Steady". Rock Steady was their big comeback after "taking a break" and it did well but their album flopped and so did the next single and nothing became of it.

Faded was probably the wrong word. But I was just surprised that they didn't really capitalise on the success of Rock Steady.

No no I meant in 2001 they were at the top of their game when they broke up. They didn't take a break, they broke up, it was quite well publicised at the time.

I think the Appleton sisters went on to form a duo but that didn't last long for some reason.

Loved All Saints back in the day but Never Ever was never one of my favourite songs from them.
Black Coffee was their best...such an amazing mood piece.

Absolutely loved this when it came out. It's so strange to think it came out 16 years ago, I remember it like yesterday.

War of Nerves wow that was a great song. Gonna listen to it later.

I know, that's why I used inverted commas. They said they were taking a break but they meant they were breaking up.

One of the best girl group songs of the 90s. Great song.

Weird to think they split over a jacket.

I love Black Coffee and Pure Shores. Two of the best songs from the 90s/00s. Was the album as good?

I prefer some other All Saints songs such as I Know Where It's At, Booty Call and Pure Shores.

The way the beginning of Never Ever drones on, there was a time when I hoped to Never Ever hear the song again! I am a bit more relaxed about it now though.
