I realise that hummy.tv is the place to discuss this but I haven't been able to register on the forums. My confirmation email hasn't arrived.

I have the custom software flatten to move recording out of their folders and then delete the folders. It has suddenly stopped working and when I have looked at the log there are software errors in the flatten batch file. I have checked the flatten batch file script and there are definitely errors. The date on the file is 12 March 2013 so I presume that someone has broken it. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it is still wrong.

Is there anyone out there who can talk to the relevant people and get the problem resolved?

I have made a roadside fix to the flatten script and disabled the auto-update script so that it is NOT automatically unfixed.

Its not a problem for me at the moment but I am surprised that others aren't having the same problem.

What is the exact problem that you have with flatten?

Version 0.0.5-2 is reported on hummy.tv, to have fixed the problem of it not working.

Its fixed now. I reinstalled the auto-update package and allowed it to run overnight and the new version of flatten has been installed.

Previously I had removed the auto-update package so that the flatten script that I had fixed didn't get overwritten. Yesterday I had manually removed the flatten package and then reinstalled it. The version that got reinstalled was the same 0.0.5 version that was faulty.

I don't know whether there are 2 sources of packages in use, 1 for package install and 1 for auto-update. Perhaps someone in the know could investigate this.
