A friend of mine wants me to make them cupcakes with frostings in "Autumn Colours".
What food colourings should I use to achieve the correct colours ?

Andy, do you have a specialist cake decorating supplies shop near by? You are looking for colours in this sort of range. https://www.quickcrop.co.uk/blog/wp-...umn-Leaves.jpg so their advice about paste colours would be invaluable.

A cream and a deeper yellow. Individually and mixed. A deeper orange, again mixed with cream would give you two more colours. Green is hard as most will be too 'green' but you may a dark green with the tiniest touch of red would work.

Go ask their advice. My local place is a great source of help. They make and sell the most beautiful cakes but are still willing and able to give help to those of us that make cakes as a hobby.

My last sentence ^ up there ^ makes no sense (even to me, and I wrote it )

A dark green with a touch of red, would work. That's what I meant.....
