Connect Freesat Box To Wireless Network
Is it possible to connect a Freesat Box to a mobile network hub? I am about to purchase a new Freesat box for our caravan - so no land line broadband, but I do have Three's mobile broadband hub which gives a download speed at the van of about 7.5 - reasonable fast, but there is no Ethernet connection to connect to freesat box to get catch up tv, so is it possible to connect via this hub? using a dongle or what? and which make freesat box would be the easiest and cheapest to do this?

Any Freesat+ box or a Freesat box with BBC iPlayer will have an ethernet (wired network) port allowing connection to the Internet. You can buy a wireless (WiFi) access point to connect to this with a cable. The Freesat box can then use your Three mobile broadband hub. However, if you intend to use Internet TV regularly you should be aware that the data download will be very large. Unless you have a truly unlimited 3G contract you will quickly exceed your monthly allowance. Also you may need to connect the access point to a PC once only to set up the WiFi connection.

Thanks for reply, Ii was just intending to use rarely, but the main reason was in case I went for unlimited contract in future. So any wireless access point should work?
