roku question

This is no doubt a stupid question but if I upgrade my roku to the new roku 3, will my roku channels be saved as long as I keep my account the same?

I bought a second Roku LT and signed on with my account and all the existing channels on my original XS were immediately visible. Equally when I add a new channel now it automatically appears on both boxes.

Can't comment on Roku 3 but I don't see why it would be different.

The channels are linked to your Roku account not the device itself When you will register your new Roku it transfer de channels.

If you can let me know where you can find the Roku 3 in the UK I would really appreciate it

Is there any point in upgrading? From what I've read the only benefits are:

-a slightly faster processor
-earphone socket on the remote (admittedly a clever idea)
-improved software

But Roku have confirmed the software will be rolled out to earlier devices in April..

Unless the above are important to you, why upgrade?

If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Sometimes I think people upgrade perfectly good hardware way to quickly. Granted, if the Roku 3 was the only way to access new streaming services then it may be an idea to upgrade, otherwise, enjoy what you have.
