If it's from BBC America does that mean it won't be shown in the UK?

It'll probably be online for all first. I've noticed that despite the fact we both get trailers at the same time, they upload them on youtube with BBCA's account. No worries

Yet another example of the BBC failing to have any trailers.

Tweet from Edward Russell within the last hour:

So, Doctor Who fans. We've been quiet and you've been patient. But do make sure you're watching BBC One this evening...
And @bbcdoctorwho will be giving more details today...

https://twitter.com/edwardrussell

Obviously those who haven't been quiet and patient will be automatically barred from viewing it...

It all made sense to me. A few 50th related announcements - ie as summed up in the recent Radio Times postcard extravaganza - to reassure its not forgotten. Then let Comic Relief hoohaa happen, then with that noise out of the way - roll the 7b trailer. That teaser trailer sting thing worked a treat too.

In fact I think it all made sense to most on the forum.

Soon we turn to plan B. Wait for the trailer to be shown a few times then..."Why oh why is there nothing on the telly apart from all these trailers! Is this what I pay my licence fee for? Abuse of monopoly!"

Trailer BBC1 6pm according to official twitter.
it's online at 6pm, it isn't physically possible for it to be on bbc1 at 6pm as the wales v england grand slam decider will be on...

My guess is it will first air on bbc1 after the rugby finishes.

eta: in actual fact, it's going to be on bbc1 at around 7:57pm

*NEWS* The trailer for the brand new series of @bbcdoctorwho will premiere online at 6pm this evening, we'll tweet the link when it's live.
@DrWho247 @cameronyardejnr At around 7.57pm, straight after Pointless Celebrities.
I think some people misread there initial tweet and didn't see the online bit.

It doesn't matter much either way to this Doctor Who fan - it's not what I'd call proper rugby.

LOL, Me either, may as well watch football
League all the way

Looking forward to the new trailer. Hope it clears up a lot of the negativity that seems to be taking over this forum and spoiling what was once a really nice place to chat Who.
Also hope it brings back some of the more positive posters who've vanished recently.

Shame. Would have reached a larger audience an hour earlier I imagine. But still, Saturday primetime, can't complain!
