I must be having a sense of humour failure today as I didn't find that funny at all.

It looks really funny. Me thinks ITV are after a Mrs Browns Boys type show with this.

So glad I'm not the only one If the trailers are anything to go by it looks dark and dismal and I find the acting awful, maybe its because its just bits of the whole thing, but it seems contrived

If the trailers are meant to entice, then im not very tempted! However, as its something new, I will tune in and give it a try.

The preview clips for this are not encouraging it has to be said.
Also, it seems a little unimaginative to be casting Sir Ian and Derek Jacobi as acting' luvvies'. Surely they could have come up with something a little less predictable? I'll give it a watch, because McKellen is sheer class, but I fear I may be disappointed judging from the bits I've seen. |

I thought the clip shown on Jonathan Ross was dire beyond belief. The stereotypes seemed like something straight out of the seventies (The Dick Emery Show sprang to mind.) It may be that scene is not representative of the show, and the rest is a lot better, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Well, they are doing good to not show the best scenes in the previews. I hope to be pleasantly surprised when we see the show in it's entirety from Monday.

I found the trailer funny. I know some waspish old queens like those two.

The opposition (Crimewatch) should be enough to allow Vicious to launch with a 5m+ audience.
Citizen Khan launched with 3.4m (bank holiday), and Mrs Browns Boys launched with 2.6m but obviously, incomparable because they both started out in the 10:35pm slot. |

I would hope Vicious is considerably lighter than Mrs Brown's Boys.

I want this to be funny.
But I have a feeling it might be a disappointment. Anyway......we'll soon know. |

Much as I like the song used for the theme tune, it was a bit starling for what I thought might be a quite comedy.
