As are most sitcoms: this one should be presented as a stage show. It is acted as such IMO, the acting for TV is very OTT "Lovie". Doesn't work on TV IMO, may be good theatre....

Ah, there speaks a wise man. Alcohol to improve the dross on the telly. "Is this over yet then" someone`s just said on screen - sadly not!

Enjoying watching such wonderful actors have a great time - but sincerely hope my gay daughter isn't watching.
I agree it is directed more as a stage play than TV - and it does seem a bit outdated.

I love Marcia Warren too; all the rest are good apart from DJ; he's dreadful in this. It wouldn't be any funnier without him but it would be more bearable.

Okay that last scene was very funny.

The young guy isn't very attractive though for what is presumably supposed to be the eye candy. Unless he's not designed for the ladies. Or I'm missing something.

God I hope I don't turn out like these two characters...

Are you saying the real audience didn't laugh?

"I don't know how we'll ever get over this."
"Stuart, I'm sorry."
"Oh that's alright."

If it continues like part one, I'm not sure how long I'll last.
If it continues like part two, I think I'll enjoy watching it.

I thought this would be getting a lot more ripping apart here than it is. I only logged on to see if the comments were funnier than the show.

It was dreadful.

It was ok. The young guy and the old lady were my favourites.

Well, I loved it. A triumph. I really didn't expect to like it, but it completely won me over.

I'll definitely be tuning in for more.
