She was skating up until a couple of weeks ago, does that not put pressure on her cyst/nerve? I'm just really annoyed and frustrated for Tristan, he deserves better.”

I agree, surely she must have known that something was wrong before she decided to sign up for the show so why did she still participate in it, if she wasn't 100% healthy ?

Sure it will be a steep learning curve for her. A few of the male celebs seem to be venting their spleen and directing it at their pro. I did like how Lindsay jolted Vic out of his downer, by saying you have 2 days before showtime so this is it. She may have looked a bit stunned because of the camera being there and not used to a reaction like that. From what I have seen of her on SYTYCD and DWTS she is very smiley and happy natured and into her dancing and professional, this maybe a baptism of fire.

I liked Chelsie, but was never wowed by her dancing or choreography either.”

She did has some memorable moments choreography wise and she is a very talented dancer. Just gotta show that you can be one of the best dancers in the world but not do well on the show because it takes more than just dance : personality and charisma are very important. She seems like a sweet girl but her personality was a bit mehhhh.
Of all the news pros I like Sharna the best : She is feisty and very good choreographer. I like what she is doing with Andy and I love their partnership .
Gleb is very good looking and a great dancer but Im not impressed with his choreo. And as for Lindsay I dont think she should have been considered as a pro; she is still very inexperienced imo and that has nothing to do with her age.

I dont know why they dont bring Lacey back, i like her.

I think some of you are being a little hard on Dorothy .

I really have no idea whether she was advised not to do the show ahead of signing up, but just on the face of things, it seems there was a pre-existing problem which she was able to skate with and expected/hoped to be able to dance with, too.

A new discipline obviously presents new challenges for the body and it didn't work out this time, regrettably.

There can't be an athlete or dancer (or human being over 50 ) who isn't carrying some kind of chronic injury or pain and I guess you just can't know - until you try - whether you can do it or not. Jennifer Grey had a history of neck (or back ) problems and had a lot of pain when she took part, but she won. Louis (on SCD) aggravated a pre-existing back injury but was able to push through. You can't rule out from the show everyone who's vulnerable to injury...

It sounds as though Dorothy was risking too much, so she's done the right thing. I'm very glad it happened at the first elimination stage and someone else got the chance to continue.

I'll miss her - she seemed lovely and had potential... and I'll miss Tris, too

Agreed- her scores should have been much higher considering her injury.

I don't know why but I really can't warm to Zendaya. Granted she's an OK dancer, but something about her really grates on me. I seem to be obe of the only ones who is 'anti Zendaya'.

She's by far my favorite Disney star they've had - she's very mature for her age and isn't 'OTT' like Roshon and Sabrina were.

Roshon was terrible, he's up there with Jennifer Grey as the most annoying contestant ever!

Don't get me started on Jennifer, too I can't help but think Brandy was completely robbed by Bristol Palin in Season 11 still.

Well don't be put off saying so - it's good to keep some balance .

I'm undecided about her. She doesn't irritate me. Well, actually she did right at the beginning - just unnaturally confident for a 'kid' (her word ) - but I find her quite likeable now. She's going to be fab (already is, I suppose) and I'm glad she's with Val because he'll teach her proper technique and tends to be less gimmicky than Golden Boy and one or two others , so I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do together.

My problem - which won't stop me supporting her, but does stop me being a complete fangirl - is that she's a already a dancer. She blinking well ought to be good!

Seems from the above link Dorothy's problems started when she was dancing not before. What a shame for them.

Got to agree really like her, but she's not an absolute beginner is she. She does appear to have natural ability as well as some dance training. The gulf between the novices is vast in comparison.

I really loved Bristol in season 11 and absolutely disliked Brandy weird considering that I like Brandy now well mostly her music but she seemed so annoying and off-putting in her season imo, ughhh couldn't stan her and I was glad when she was eliminated and when Bristol made it to the final ; it didnt help that she was partnered with Maks.
Some people bring the worst of each other and these 2 brandy and maks did imo.

Boo hiss, the BP fans are falling out the closet.
Lol can't get the smilies to work. She was a wasted place on the show as far as I was concerned. Never saw her as sweet, more like playing the poor me card, mixed in with some manipulation.

Lisa is actually horrendous, just watched her Jive.

My favourite at the moment is probably Jacoby, although I like Zendaya and Aly also.

Lisa is just awful, no doubt about it. She's joined in the awful club by Ingo and D.L. D.L's cha-cha-cha was quite something last week.

Kellie could leave and I wouldn't miss her.

You have to give her some credit for going out there and owning that dancefloor. Like Val said in one of their interviews many people go over there and get petrified (naturally ) or forget steps but nope she just go out there and have the time of her life for 1:40s and I really admire that . Sure her background give her some kind of advantage but if you think about it other competitors also have advantages its up to them and their professionals to make best use of it. Derek does it very well and Mark also but Im just not warming up to Aly. Ingo should be good but him and Kym are forgettable for me.
Actor , singers, athletes all have some kind of advantages with performance , musicality and extreme discipline so yeah...
