Yes, I always think it's a bit unfair to write off a new pro when they have an average/poor celeb in their first season. It could be that he's spectacularly terrible and she's doing a great job by getting him to look average . I suspect she's a bit on the young side though and a few more years teaching and celeb-wrangling wouldn't go amiss .

Sharna is doing a great job with Andy - I would never have thought he could be made appealing! As for Gleb, I think, again, it's hard to know, given the material he has to work with, but he seems to 'handle' Lisa well and I don't suppose that's the easiest job in the world . (btw I've had enough of Giggy now. Put the darn dog away, Lisa!)

Perhaps I am being a bit harsh on Gleb time will tell. Giggy certainly gets a lot of airtime. Feel sorry for him when he is snoozing on Lisa's lap and she shakes him awake when interviewers mention him, poor thing looks startled.

Dont do it...... They will tell you in no certain terms thats its their blog and they can ban you if they want. Trust me they threaten to ban many times in the past so I decided to stop posting there and just lurk .

I liked Kellie and Derek's dance but it wasn't original and expected more. I do think that producers on dwts do have favourite pros and it is not just Derek - Mark and Val also always gets good partners as well. Also celebs like Nicole and Jennifer asked for Derek so what else could the producers do.

As for kym always found her hit or miss with her choreography but is a lovely dancer. My fav female dancer has always been Karina so glad she has a good partner this year.

The Paso Doble seems like a really bizzare choice for prom week.

really bizarre and its one of my favourites Latin dances so I was really looking forward to see Zen and Val Paso but I dont know how this is going to work with Prom week .

I would disagree with Val, he has his own share of duds and early exits imo so I think he just lucked out with Zen and Kelly last year.

I except the judges to give them the same comments as Katherine and Mark they did their paso Rock and Roll week.

Finally....., the Paso..Disappointed that it's not a waltz however,.this will test Val's skills to make it both traditional and relevant to the theme.
Val did the Paso week 3 with Kelly last season. Is it a good or bad omen?

Out of 4 contestants he had 2 fantastic ones and two ok/duds/early exits/not going to win contestants that is nearly the same as Artem's record two fantastic ones & one ok contestant except unlike Artem he hasnt won it yet whereas if you look at Tony or Tristan you could hardly compare and they got the 2 less likely female winners this season again. Tristan has never been given a good contestant and Tony only had two contenders in Stacey and Melissa and Melissa was a last minute replacement as Nancy O'Dell was injured.

And yes Kelly wasn't a favourite when the all stars started but Val showed his talent and popularity and is now one of the favoured pros especially now that Maks isn't there. He has also never got a Kate or Bristol type of contestant.

There is actually more of an agrument for Mark who has Bristol, Shannen, Kim and Kristin (although she was a better dancer than her finishing place suggests) but he has been in 5 finals out of 11 (should have be 6 with Sabrina but anyways).

Its still too early to think that he is a favourite pro imo like the Golden Boys are after all this is only his 4th season .

Might not be a paso...the only evidence is the dress, which might not be Zendaya's at all! Even if it is, it's only the colours that suggest it's for a paso.

They are not giving him a break this season arent they ? First the challenge to choreograph dances deemed " age-appropriate " for Zen, then to dance contemporary as your 1st dance. Having jive (a very difficult Latin dance) as your second dance. Then having to choreograph a paso for Prom week and one that will be dedicated to your partners grandma...sigh...

So far so good, I hope he continues to rise to the challenge. I really dont know what to expect with that Paso tomorrow. The dance doesnt suit the theme of the evening at all !!! But I guess we will see

The people on PureDWTS are making such a big deal about Zendaya getting special treatment with the young demographic and 'Twitter voting' which makes sense - but if Derek had a partner that was getting all this treatment, I don't think they'd make a big deal out of it.

I read that on PureDwtS, but I couldn't see anything to back it up, so assumed they were speculating (because there are so few ballroom dances and the other ones are VW). Their speculations might be right, of course.

(It's quite funny reading their outrage at the whole Zendaya/twitter thing. I agree with them as it happens, but it's fun to see them meltdown at the injustice. Oh, the irony )
