Anybody know about her dance shoes? Do the women wear different shoes for ballroom and latin?
I'm sure the men wear a higher heel for latin - though not so much on DwtS. I think they think it's girly
. I was appalled to see Sean :yawn: dancing in sneakers last week. Probably explains his plodding performance I'm finding the men this year a bit of a turn off. They're either petulant and tantrum-y or totally forgettable. Jacoby and Andy are the only ones whose dances I can recall properly and whose VTs are engaging (even if I'm not sold on Jacoby yet). I'm finding the women both more interesting as characters (like 'em or not) and better dancers (overall).
ETA: I read that ballroom shoes have closed toes and latin open. Not sure if that applies to paso though, which I understand is danced on the heels (unlike the other latin dances). So no help there, whatsoever
