Probably will help her that she's not top leaderboard every time but Len was really unfair making comment about style of VWaltz just for them but then again when was Len ever fair.

I think she thought that she could have done better and also the fact that the dance was so emotional for her . So Len could have been a bit nicer like he was the rest of the evening.

Totally i think she knew she had couple stumbles way she looked at Val as they finished it was def a look of did i do ok & as for Len he either should say to all couples who he feels are "too floaty" or just shut up about it as its same everytime on DWTS compared to what is allowed on SCD for VWaltz.

Val saying that Zen is his everything. I hope people dont pick on that (like Ive already seen some people do so far ) and make a big deal out of it. I think that both of them were very emotional tonight and its understandable.

That site always up really quickly with recap, its great as i watch DWTS online & sometimes not great feed so rely on them for judges comments.

OMG surely people are not going to jump on him for that comment i think its lovely the way he wants his partners to shine & really liked CA saying how well he's doing bringing out dancer in Zendaya.

Especially when he was so nice this evening and scored many couples higher than Bruno and Carrie Ann (which rarely happens ). I thought he took a happy pill or something. I think that given the circumstances he could have been a bit nicer but tbh I think its a blessing in disguise that it happened because some people were already bashing her too much already .

Btw the look she gave to Val at the end of the dance , a look of sorry I have disappointed U and myself because I could have done better but she needs to understand that things like that happen.

Believe it or not I have already seen some people complaining about it SMH.

the over the top praise of Kelly's jive. I just dont understand. She had a couple of missteps in that routine and I was so surprised at these comments and didn't finish some of those moves smootlhy but NO ONE pointed that out. I just dont understand. She was overscored imo.

Zen and Val's VW made me teary-eyed . Its wasnt perfect but it was beautiful imo.
I enjoyed Jacoby and Andy the most tonight aside from my favourites Valdaya.
Aly and Mark and Igo and Kym are just so forgettable to me :yawn:.

Wynona and DL were so cringeworthy
Kellie good but overscored and those comments were just so over the top; that dance didnt deserve a 9 !

Derek is very good at hiding flaws. Kellie is very stiff in ways, and they didn't move around the floor very well. There was also a lift! It was a good effort though. Kellie can't shimmy to save her life.

I didn't like Zendaya's VW. It was too fast and too much of it was out of hold. That was Val's fault though, not Zendaya's. Most of the American pros are guilty of that. More in hold please!!!

Wynonna is one of the worst dancers they've ever had on the show. Her week one dance was very overmarked. Just terrible.

The people who work on PureDWTS are annoying me even more.

Calling Zendaya 'the Z thing' because they're obviously bitter of her huge fanbase compared to the others! It's not her fault!

Only seen the pre-VTs and the dances (not the judging and scores or any of your comments), so my unpolluted thoughts.....

I was underwhelmed. Nothing particularly wrong, just a bit, meh.
Andy and Sharna - cha cha
He's a bit fragile in the VT package and lucky to have Sharna. My goodness, she could give Ola a run for her money in the catsuit-stakes , which I guess was the point - look at her and not at Andy's non-existent cha cha!
Ingo and Kym - paso
Kym taking the micky in the VT - lol! Paso was okay. All stomping and posing to me.
Lisa and Gleb - VW
'You look like a dancer....when you don't move!' . Gleb was carrying her somewhat in the dance and she got her hands tangled. Not bad. Not fab.
Kellie and Derek - Jive
Thought it was great. She makes nice shapes. Loved the through the legs thing. Struggled to match Derek on the kicks and flicks.
Victor and Lindsay - Contemporary
Not bad for a complete novice dancer and was a good support for Lindsay (who looked lovely). He does all the steps but he doesn't express the dance through to his fingers and toes. I didn't like the floor rolling!
DL and Cheryl - salsa
Cheryl choreographed lots of distraction and not much salsa. Poor.
Jacoby and Karina - rumba
Wow! He really surprised me. I didn't think he would commit to the dance like that. Some good stuff in there!
Wynonna and Tony - Samba
Samba to Def Lepard!! . Well, Tony is keeping a tight grip on the key to the dressing up box - what was he thinking?!!!! Awful samba. She's almost immobile .
Sean and Peta - cha cha
The best bit was marching on with the Village People. He's no natural!
Zendaya and Val - VW
Well the blinking red dress didn't feature! She looked lovely in the long gown and coped with the spinning really well. I don't like this type of arm-flailing VW - just seems to be distraction. Wish there had been more in hold, because her frame was great. Out of hold she was a bit round shouldered. Very sweet.

I liked it more than you did , but I agree in general about that style of VW. I wish they would use the freedom of American Smooth style to add dynamism and highlights, but when virtually the whole dance is side by side with manic arm swooshing there's no contrast - all light and no shade.

I wonder if she struggled with the footwork in hold (because I couldn't see much wrong with her frame) and Val was trying a bit of sleight of hand. He's usually a bit of a stickler for teaching the technicals...and showing his partner has grasped them...

I thought she looked pretty pensive throughout the whole performance, if truth be told. Perhaps she was just emotional about her grandma, but I wonder if she felt slightly out of her comfort zone.
