I wondered what Zendaya meant when she said she could dance hula? Know I know, wasn't she adorable in that school dance, even then you could see she was miles better then the other kids around her.Her issue may not be hips but it could be maintaining straight legs for the samba, as the dance does appear to suit more shorter compact individuals.

I love her attitude for this show , she doesnt take it too seriously. I like Andy but he needs to stop treating this show as its a matter of life or death , y'all should see his face when he is under the red light waiting for the results .

same with the jive but she pulled it off. At first I was so curious to see how she was going to approach that dance, since it doesn't really suit tall people or should I say is much harder on them but that jive is my Favorite jive on the show. I cant stop watching her jive with Val : perfect song, music, synchronization with val, performance, outfits, lighting everything was perfect
So I have high hopes for this samba, cant wait to see it .

Sorry to disagree but I think Lisa looks like mutton dressed as lamb and I noticed some of the comments by the instagram you linked say how awful she looks in those leotards and tights she always wears in training and I'm inclined to agree. I can see why she has a bit of a fan base though - I suppose she's a colourful character and maybe unintentionally funny! That poor puppy - I reckon that's what is getting her the votes, but she treats it like some sort of accessory

I'll join in the Zendaya love here because I really like her and her dancing - she's really mature for her age and I thought it was really touching the way she went up to Wynonna when she was eliminated and placed the prom crown on her. I'm also really liking Jacoby - like his dancing and great personality.

Ali Raisman - I can see going the way of Evan Lysacek in that she'll be a technically good dancer and she'll probably get to the end but her character isn't really coming through, I think she may lose out to one of the bigger personalities.

I hope DL or Lisa go next week - preferably DL because he can't take criticism and his attitude sometimes stinks - poor Cheryl - I think it's a shame Wynonna went before him - she wasn't that great a dancer but at least she looked like she was enjoying herself and could take criticism and she didn't give Tony a hard time.

Yeah Aly is lost into the shuffle. Last week was her best dance yet but it was just okay, meh, it didnt move me. She is just there...:yawn::yawn:

Thanks for the links soupy I like Lisa, she jokes about and doesn't seem to take herself too seriously. I feel it falls a bit flat for her, as there is no one to have a banter with back and forth really. Don't think some get her sense of humour, I do. She is a very successful businesswoman, along with her husband so good luck to her.

On the subject of Giggy I was the same as others thinking why does she dress the poor pom up. She says he has alopecia and a skin condition and poms can't keep their temperature up without fur, so therefore she puts rompers on him to stop him shivering. Don't know how true it is, insofar as, was she putting clothes on him in the first place and he lost his fur as a result of them or vice versa? She has other poms that she doesn't clothe, so maybe the truth. When I've seen her trying to get Giggy to walk he won't budge, so she picks him up.

Hi Karma . About the dog. I can't help thinking a pampered pooch = a fearful, neurotic one, but, as you say, if her other poms are more 'normal' maybe it's just Giggy....(I still don't like to see it, though).


Yes, she just takes the show for what it is (fluffy, campy nonsense) and not a matter of life and death. I hadn't thought about her being in a bit of a banter vacuum, but you have a point

When Andy isn't crying and trying like his life depended on it, he also has a sense of fun about the proceedings. I think that's my problem with DL, really. Setting aside all the drama with the judges, there's no joy in this process for him - and it feels like that was the case from the start. It's all a grind. I wonder why he wanted to do the show? . I hope he's out next (but doubt it - think TPTB loving the drama..)

I hope Lisa can squeeze a couple more weeks out of this (her dancing doesn't warrant much more ), partly because she's fun, but also, I don't want to lose another woman just yet. They need to cull the dull! Ingo probably has the most potential to improve, but I'd be happy to wave bye bye to anyone from DL, Sean and him.

I hope Aly can up her game and become more of a contender, as it's all a bit predictable just now. Nothing wrong with her dancing, just not enough impact so far. I chuckled when I heard Mark say they had his favourite style of dance (contemporary) and it was a chance to do that 'Mark Ballas thing' (wtte). He's been remarkably restrained and un-prattish so far, so normally that would set my alarms ringing, but I think Aly needs a breakthrough dance. For good or ill (yikes!), I hope Mark lets rip this week. .

Dont fear I definetely that tonight will be Aly's breakout week so the show will have new headlines like " omg we have a new leader in the pack" : everything is set in tone for it, they are performing Last : pimp slot so Im sure they will get at least a 10 and some 9s, best year of her life is last year's olympic and of course I already read that her teammates will be in the audience so like I said everything is pretty much set in tone for her to have her break out week tonight.

And as for Kellie: that rumba with Derek with her husband singing their wedding song , and with a special apperarance of a blind dancer who is a Derek's fan (thats what he said...) I see emotional, tear jerker, couple of 9s and 10s.
So I think those 2 ladies will shine tonight.

It will be a bit hard for my fav. Zendaya to stand out tonight because her story doesnt seem as compelling as the otner ones , nevertheless I see her producing a funtastic Samba

So this is the weekly who is dancing what and when tonight, So Aly is dancing last which means pimp slot= high expectations for the dance=this will probably be her breakout week . Even though I still think that she cant touch the 3 finalists imo (Zendaya, Kellie and Jacoby ) performance/dance's wise.
For the record, just because you can do contemporary well doesnt mean that you will excel at ballroom or latin. I think people had so much expectations for her and thought that she would be another Shawn johnson but unfortunately for them she isnt. Lovely girl but her performances so far bored me :yawn::yawn:. I expect her to get at least a 28 or 29 tonight .
-I think the samba is right in Zendaya's alley so Im sure she will do well . couple of 10s ? uhmm kind of hard to say with the samba; Val and her will get a 26 (9,8,9 ) at best and thats very good for a samba.
-Kellie's rumba : She has gorgeous lines so Im sure Derek will know how to use that. He always choreograph gorgeous rumba and I expect this to be her best dance yet. So she will probably score 28 or 29 tonight.
-Victor's Paso : I see him struggle tonight with the techinque but as always he sells it.
-Ingo, DL, Andy with ballroom will do okay.
-Jacoby : now the foxtrot will be tough for him imo but I expect him to do well.
-Lisa'a chacha 1word : disaster I dont think it will be good but hope for the best.

Top 5 tonight imo will be : 1-Aly 2-Kellie 3- Zendaya 4-Jacoby 5- Ingo
I have to say that the men are very weak this year, aside from Jacoby I dont think there is anyone who has a real shot at the top 3 imo.

Still feel unease with Andy because of his criminal record and sex offences taking part in DWTS. If someone like him was in the UK, don't think he would be considered for Strictly because of the uproar it would cause. Particularly in the wake of Jimmy Saville and Co. Andy seems to be trying hard but don't think everything can be excused by substance abuse. If I was unaware of these facts, I would view him in a difference light probably. Know there are levels of sex offences but they all start somewhere.

I know that something like that (BIB) wouldn't fly with SCD: Remember when Ricky Whittle had a little scuffle with the law in 2009 ? First people didnt even warm up to him and of course that incident with his ex-gf and what she said didnt help his reputation of course.
Some of the contestants that DWTS accept wouldn't even be considered for SCD I know : ex-prisoners (lil Kim ), "recovered addicts " (Andy ), famous for having sex-tapes (Kim kardashian , kendra.......) famous for sleeping with A-listers men (Val's 1st partner cant remember her name; well I know she was George Clooney ex-Gf)..... I could go on and on so yeah you can say that DWTS knows how to pull some interesting contestants


What I also find fascinating about this show and SCD as well is that by the end you end up loving someone that you used to dislike or wasnt interested in Andy, Lil kim, Pamela Anderson, Bristol Palin, Kim Kardashian (I dont necessarily like her but I dont mind her , she is okay and is a very savvy business woman ), Ann Widdecombe , I like Sean Lowe he is harmless lol.
You end up " hating " someone that you thought you would like : Hope solo...cant think of someone else .

Interesting how he always said that he was very hesitant about being paired up with Zen, trust me he was not the only one but he is glad that things worked out great and that they have built a great partnership/friendship
And Im glad that he kind of acknowledge that people were mostly voting for his showmance last year, not the dancing

Oh dear and he says that there will be a hip-hop week ;I already see the backlash coming towards Zen because Im sure TPTB made that theme week with her in mind and for to attract this younger demographic that they want so bad .
