You're right we can be fickle when it comes to clebs liking them before the show and going off them on the show, or liking pros one season with a cleb and not so keen the next season,

Tbh never been bothered by Zen's pairing with Val based on her age don't really get the fuss.

Can understand a backlash if they get her doing hip hop, there's never a level playing field in these shows with differing abilites, but there is stacking the deck in someone's favour at a blatant level

Personally, I hate showmance on the show.
The only showmance that I liked was kara and Artem because it was actually genuine and we actually saw their relationship develop ....like I said it was genuine.
2- Ive always thought that Val's showmance last year with Kelly was fake and point in case they split right after the show ended.
Another fake showmance was Ali and Brian who once again split once the cameras stopped rolling .
3- Some of the best partnerships in both SCD and DWTS were build through great friendship : Team Cola (Chris and Ola ), Mark/Shawn, Mark/bristol, Mark/Katherine, Cheryl/Emmit, Peta/Donald, Derek/Nicole, .......
None of this couples were involved in some kind of showmance but they had an amazing chemistry.
So while I understand the point that Val makes by saying that because he doesnt have a showmance this year (which shouldn't/wont happen anyways ) some people might not feel compelled to vote for him and Zen, I totally disagree because its not always about the showmance. Chemistry doesnt always have to be sexual or romantic but its mostly about the incredible rapport that you have with your partner on the dancefloor so I think that him and Zen have that..
Imo this year the couples who have the most chemistry are : Karina and Jacoby, Zendaya and Val, Sharna and Andy and Victor and Lindsay....the rest not so much.

Exactly even though I dont think she needs this " propping " (which Im sure some people will say ) because her fanbase is really huge and I think many people underestimate it. And yes they really are voting; and contrary to popular belief its not only kids or teens who are voting for her but parents/grandmas as well.We'see what happens but I see people who keep underestimating her fanbase. Ive said this previously she is not like the other Disney kids they had on the show, but I rest my case lol.

Val talked about a showmance between Lindsay and Victor and mentioned that its probably not going to happen because she is a Mormon .
But goodness gracious, they really want someone to get the showmance angle this season dont they ?

Don't think it will happen between L & V hasn't she just got engaged and he has a lovely girlfriend. Despite these obvious obstacles think they look good together.

Not sure on Lisa's age, hear rumblings she's older than she says Meow from some quarters.

And to think that some people wanted Zen to be paired up with Tristan or Gleb ? Nah. TPTB also take personalities in account when they match those celebrities so even in that category they are well matched .

Oh great that Zen is dancing during the first half of the show so I wont have to sit through 2 hours if I dont feel like it .

Zen looks cute, she has a great sense of style and Val looks dapper as well . They matched up pretty well
Oh and I agree with him about D.L same thing I and many people have been saying for weeks; Sure DL is bad but give him at least some constructive criticism instead of being unnecessarily harsh. I think the judges will be " nice " with D.L tonight, " praise " him so that people may forget and dont vote for him tomorrow and that he finds himself in the bottom 2 . I know how this show works lol.

Anyways really looking forward to Zen's samba. Dancing so early can be a disadvantage so I hope her dance really WOW because it can be dangerous if by the end of the show no one remembers it especially since almost everyone will be doing sappy/emotional routines. Her uplifting/happy samba may be lost into the shuffle.

Is it legit this time sm ? I hope Zen is dancing 6th because I didnt like her dancing 2nd.Plus her fans will turn off their tv once she is done so TPTB will make sure to always place her late in the show ..
